On my move in day the apartment that I was to originally move into was not "market ready" the carpet was still wet, the apartment hadn't been painted, the cabinets were off track, a lot of the light bulbs were out, the caulking hadn't been done in the bathroom and the apartment had the worst smell. I was very disappointed and shocked. After my walk through I told my leasing professional that I didn't like the apartment and that I really didn't want to move my things into that apartment but the movers had already started moving my things and they were on the way. I asked her if anything else was available for immediate move in and she told me that something else was available in a different community and that I could have that one. I did a walk through in the new place and I absolutely loved the place!!! I was clean and it smelled sooooooo good! I was happy again :-) I am so thankful that my leasing professional was very understanding and that she immediately went into action to get me into something that I liked. I feel she did an amazing job I think her name was Chriss....I don't know her last name. The apartment that I'm in now in Deerfield is great. The parking could be better, but we can?t have everything we want right? :-) So in the future I would suggest all apartments be walked prior to move in because this is such a huge property just to make sure maintenance has actually completed the task.
