Valley Ridge apts are very old and poorly insulated. You can hear everything your neighbors are saying and doing most of the time...very noisy. If you don't live in one of the townhouses, then plan to have parking issues. If you arrive later in the evening or night, plan to walk a long distance to get to your apt. The maintenance is fairly timely, but quite messy and borders on poor workmanship. They only have one maintenance guy that is available for the entire complex. The office staff are nice to talk to as long as you are not presenting an issue with a noisy neighbor...they don't want to be bothered with your complaints. There is no customer service available from the (2) ladies in the office. However, there is no customer service with the management company either, so that may be where their mindset comes from. Employee behaviors typically trickle down from upper managemnet. Overall, managment and staff look at it that you are getting a place for a somewhat lower rent than most places, so deal with the bad stuff that comes with it...you get what you pay for attitude. The one good thing about the complex is the location. It is in a nice area and is relatively close to the downtown area, very convenient. The complex is not much to look at and as mentioned before, very old and outdated.
