Overall I was fairly happy here, but some of complaints included:
Price - I recommended the place to a friend about halfway through my lease, but rent had skyrocketed to a point where his moderate salary wasn't even enough for a one-bedroom. Also, their water policy is ridiculous. You're mailed a separate bill from a "different company" but you make the payment directly to the apartment. I had no washer/dryer and was conscienctious of my dishwashing, showering, etc., but still paid over $40 for myself alone. It's a major ripoff - simply a way for them to disguise the fact that they're basically tacking an extra $20 per month on your rent, but they'll lead you to believe otherwise. And also know that you'll pay a pretty hefty electric bill as a result of poor insulation.
Quality issues - for the price you pay, especially considering that you're a good 20-minute drive from downtown/central Nashville, you'd expect that you might get a little more bang for your buck. Not so much. My apartment was certainly in good condition, but the carpet had been washed and salvaged one-too-many times, the walls were thin (I could clearly hear my neighbor's alarm clock every morning at 6 a.m. followed by the morning news on her TV), the cabinets, fixtures, appliances, etc., were dated and bare-bones, and the on-site "gym" is pitiful - the machines are totally falling apart.
Rude office employee - once I put in my two-month vacate notice, she became hateful and uncooperative. Not a sign of professionalism.
I also heard that there's been an increased number of apartment robberies and car break-ins recently. All that being said, though, Nashville's apartment market is so bad that this place seemed pretty good in comparison. I felt like I had an attractive place to live, and the community residents are all nice, non-sketchy people (with the exception of a curious crowd of young men who constantly hang out by the pool in the summertime, essentially hijacking the area by blasting music from a boom box and hitting on every female who visits).
One very good thing: I never saw a single bug in my apartment the whole time I lived there.
If you're willing to pay a big chunk of money for a fairly nice, no-frills apartment with all the standard renting complaints and hassles, you'll probably be fine here.
