Resident ā¢ 2006 - 2011

Its the Maintenance, Stupid !!
It is the staff. These individuals really do care about the residents and the property. Each will go out of their way (and, beyond their job description, if necessary) to see to it that a resident in distress is cared for. On Monday evening (4/11), at approximately 8:00pm, I returned from a long drive to Indianapolis, IN ( where I had just celebrated my mother's 90th birthday). To my disappointment, I found that the toilet in my unit was not performing as it should. As expected, I called the emergency number. And, to my pleasure, the answering service was there (and prompt in taking the call). I shared with the agent what the issue was and requested assistance. The only question that I was asked was, "Is this the only toilet in your apartment?" Given that I have a studio, the response was simple, "Yes". The representative then advised me that she would call maintenance. In less than 20 minutes my phone rang. The on-call maintenance man (sorry, but I do not recall his name) called me. He said that he was off-property, but would be there in roughly a half an hour. I told him that that would be fine. Since I was away doing other necessary errands, I did not return until after he had come & gone. But, we know how this story ends. In true Post fashion, "Mission accomplished - toilet fixed !!" When I talk to residents or people who are not residents, the first thing I share is the wonderful maintenance we have. The fact that in all of my twenty years of living in Dallas, there is no other management company that does it like Post.Share This Review
