When I moved here in 2003 this was a very nice place to live. True with the other statements it is a little over priced but with the park across the street and the good landscaping I sucked it up and paid the price. If you are considering moving here really take a look at the appliances and compare the price to the quality ( I have had every major appliance in my apt break.) For the value of the apt it is really too expensive for a 1 bedroom. I pay 550 depending on how much my water bill is and I dont even have washer and dryer connections ( so it leaves me wondering how can I use $20 in water a month.)<br>Now the apartments seems like they used to have criteria for renters, used to is the key phrase there. I have noticed that they are letting anything, and anyone move here. There has been an increase in theft (check out Arlington's city website), it is not quiet here, and really you have to watch out for your stuff due to the high volume and traffic of people here all through out the night. I work during the day but if I come home early or have an off day I notice people just sitting on the steps all day ( guess they dont work) and they are smoking or just walking around the complex.<br>These apartments are on a downhill slope with the individuals they are letting in, they are running specials daily and are putting up alot of signage (that was one reason I moved here was because they DIDNT put up signs for specials). Its okay to have the specials but banners and posted signs just bring down the property in my opinion.<br><br>The parking here is okay unless you get home past 10pm, because its not assigned tenants guests will be in your covered parking spot.<br><br>Maintenance request are handled pretty quickly, but beware to waking up one morning (or getting less than a days notice) that your water is going to be off. It really sucks if you have to work and you can't take a shower!<br><br>Needless to say I WILL NOT be renewing my lease when it is up. Give this place a year and it will be a #1 Section 8 property!<br><br>Renters research, what looks good always isnt.
