I have lived here for five years and the rent has increased by 50%. What are they doing with that money besides a new coat of paint? This was a great find when it was reasonably priced JUST because of the location. Nothing else about the place is special. Now it is full of douchy young people who leave their dog poop and cigerrette butts all over the grounds. The community is very weak, more

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I love the management Jenny and Sarah. Always professional and willing to help. Definitely one of the best aspects of living at this complex. They address issues quickly and really work to keep their residents happy and make sure neighbors aren't disturbing each other. I have nothing but positive experiences with the both of them. I am still living here at Riverton and I really like it! I got a great deal on the 2-2 ba the first year and the second year when rates increased had to downgrade to the large 1-1 which is still a great lazyout. I do not mind any of my neighbors. They usually keep to their own. The parking can be a bit annoying and you would have to park a little further than comfort. Maintenance IS SPOT ON! They more

During my stay I was pleased with the maintenance and the grounds of the apartments. The management, however, treated me as if I was beneath them (how much education does it take to be an apartment manager/leasing agent?). I am a young professional with a high profile degree and always attempted to treat the management with respect. The leasing agents (especially -----) were more than more

Good afternoon! My name is Jasmine. My boyfriend and I are in the process of moving from Miami to Austin. Of course we have been looking all over to find our new home, and we ve come across the Alexan Ribelin Ranch apartment community. We must say that we have received outstanding customer service from Camille! She has been wonderful from day one. From answering all of our questions more

I had a positive review of this place while I was still living there and even recommended it at that time. When we first moved to Austin, this place had an 87% approval rating at this site. There was no crime reported for the previous 18 months per the web site by city of Austin police department. There was only one complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which was almost 3 years more

I have been living at these apartments for about a year and a half now. Since me and my roommate moved in the management has changed 3 times, and each time it seems to be getting worse. Our apartment has been infested with roaches since we moved in and neither us or the management can seem to get rid of them. Speaking with our neighbors in different buildings they seem to have the same problem as more

More than halfway through my one-year lease and I have mixed, but mostly positive feelings about the Woodmoor. First off, the staff at the office are generally pleasant and quick to help you with clerical needs. The buildings themselves are older but I'm living in an "upgraded unit" with new appliances that work. The laundry facilities are great. One thing-- you must load your more

We stayed at Riverlodge Apartments for over 5 months due to a family emergency that brought us to Austin. We had to find an apartment fast and went looking for a place to live. We found Riverlodge and told them we needed something fast and Jacque did what she could to get us an apartment. After running the necessary credit checks, we were approved and needed to get the bills turned on in order more

The management at the Tuscany is terrible. They could care less about their tenants. The rent goes up a crazy amount each year. There have been rat problems on the ground floor apartments. My AC broke and was out for 2 weeks during the heat of Austin summer. I had to move out during this time and asked for my rent to be reimbursed for the days I was without AC, and they refused. Place is not worth the money, your time or your patience. Lived there from Oct. 12'-Oct 13'. Pro's: -Close to Wholefoods. -Great access to Mopac. -Somewhat close to parts of downtown/lake Austin. -Staff is pretty nice, Stephanie really nice. Everyone else didn't even know my name or our unit number the whole year. Con's: Ready?! -Most units have train noise more

Once upon a time, this was a nice mix of construction workers and grad students. Clean, well maintained, and a bargain. Not to mention a bike ride away from UT, downtown and the hike & bike trail. A couple of years ago, the property was bought out. The idea was that the new property owners would bulldoze the entire thing and start over. Then the economy tanked and they more

When I moved in I was told I would be getting an updated apartment with nice planking and no carpet. Which is awesome, exactly what I wanted. Boy do I wish I could have seen the apartment before I moved in. Updated? I think it had new ceiling fans an door knobs. Other than that CHEAP FINISHES! I'm almost positive my appliances were from the 60's... The planking didn't look new was more

ROACHES!! I've lived here for two years now. I would have left already, except that for the most part, I love it here! Most of the neighbors are great, the pool is perfect for summers, and you can't beat the price. But I have complained MANY times about the roach problem, and they won't do anything about it. I agree with the comments made here about the female staff. Amazingly unprofessional and overconfident. I could add that I have seen one visibly shaking as if on drugs or alcohol. That may explain the mood swings and carelessness. The property itself and its location are very nice and why I choose to live here. more

If you like paying for amenities (dirty swimming pool that has broken chairs), living next to train tracks, less than stellar customer service in the front office, unannounced and indefinite construction, bugs in your apartment, and a place lacking organization THAN THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU! HORRIBLE! They have taken all the 1 & 2 star ratings on yelp and classified them as "not recommended for the YELP community." Therefore I am coming here to help people not make the same mistake I made. I am 3.5 years into my lease. Shortly after I (happily) signed another 12 month lease a new management company took over. I noticed small changes at first. IE: Shrubs being cut down more
