I had a positive review of this place while I was still living there and even recommended it at that time. When we first moved to Austin, this place had an 87% approval rating at this site. There was no crime reported for the previous 18 months per the web site by city of Austin police department. There was only one complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which was almost 3 years more

I have been living at these apartments for about a year and a half now. Since me and my roommate moved in the management has changed 3 times, and each time it seems to be getting worse. Our apartment has been infested with roaches since we moved in and neither us or the management can seem to get rid of them. Speaking with our neighbors in different buildings they seem to have the same problem as more

CURRENTLY LIVING HERE AND HATE IT: Initially these apartments looked great. The model one they showed us had all new appliances and there was plenty of parking. Staff assured us it was easy to find parking without paying for covered parking spaces. ($25 a month per car for a spot) We wanted a 2 bedroom, which they had available but they said it wasn't upgraded to new appliances. We asked if more

More than halfway through my one-year lease and I have mixed, but mostly positive feelings about the Woodmoor. First off, the staff at the office are generally pleasant and quick to help you with clerical needs. The buildings themselves are older but I'm living in an "upgraded unit" with new appliances that work. The laundry facilities are great. One thing-- you must load your more

We stayed at Riverlodge Apartments for over 5 months due to a family emergency that brought us to Austin. We had to find an apartment fast and went looking for a place to live. We found Riverlodge and told them we needed something fast and Jacque did what she could to get us an apartment. After running the necessary credit checks, we were approved and needed to get the bills turned on in order more

The management at the Tuscany is terrible. They could care less about their tenants. The rent goes up a crazy amount each year. There have been rat problems on the ground floor apartments. My AC broke and was out for 2 weeks during the heat of Austin summer. I had to move out during this time and asked for my rent to be reimbursed for the days I was without AC, and they refused. Priced too high more

Place is not worth the money, your time or your patience. Lived there from Oct. 12'-Oct 13'. Pro's: -Close to Wholefoods. -Great access to Mopac. -Somewhat close to parts of downtown/lake Austin. -Staff is pretty nice, Stephanie really nice. Everyone else didn't even know my name or our unit number the whole year. Con's: Ready?! -Most units have train noise more

Once upon a time, this was a nice mix of construction workers and grad students. Clean, well maintained, and a bargain. Not to mention a bike ride away from UT, downtown and the hike & bike trail. A couple of years ago, the property was bought out. The idea was that the new property owners would bulldoze the entire thing and start over. Then the economy tanked and they more

When I moved in I was told I would be getting an updated apartment with nice planking and no carpet. Which is awesome, exactly what I wanted. Boy do I wish I could have seen the apartment before I moved in. Updated? I think it had new ceiling fans an door knobs. Other than that CHEAP FINISHES! I'm almost positive my appliances were from the 60's... The planking didn't look new was more

If you like paying for amenities (dirty swimming pool that has broken chairs), living next to train tracks, less than stellar customer service in the front office, unannounced and indefinite construction, bugs in your apartment, and a place lacking organization THAN THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU! Not worth it. Can not wait to leave this place. more

HORRIBLE! They have taken all the 1 & 2 star ratings on yelp and classified them as "not recommended for the YELP community." Therefore I am coming here to help people not make the same mistake I made. I am 3.5 years into my lease. Shortly after I (happily) signed another 12 month lease a new management company took over. I noticed small changes at first. IE: Shrubs being cut down more

The new management & staff are awesome. It's at a great location. Just minutes from downtown. Stores & restaurants are nearby. I never had issues with neighbors, office staff, or unexpected wanders in the parking lot. I do recommend the Heritage at Hillcrest. more

I love Remington because it's a small community so the office staff knows my name. I probably annoy them because I come in often but they are always friendly and willing to chat. My biggest complaint is the size of the pool. It is really hot and there are too many people at the pool on Saturdays. (Most of who probably don't live here.) We definitely need pool passes! more

Terrible and unsafe apartment complex. I guarantee your car will be broken into within 2 months of living here. The staff is friendly but they do not care about you. Your appliances will not work properly and your pipes will leak. The maintenance staff will come by and check it out but not do anything about it. You will be reassured 1000 times that your problems will be addressed but nothing will more

I've lived here almost 2 years and have always felt safe. The property is clean and I've seen numerous improvements during my stay; landscaping, painting of the entire complex and more pet stations were put in. The office manager is always friendly and they are always in the office during their scheduled times. Maintenance requests are easy to make and every request I've submitted more

I have lived here @ The Social Apartments for almost a year now. Just last week I informed the office of my intentions to Renew my lease. The office staff of Samantha Dawn, Beth, and Jennifer are so friendly and cheerful. The maintenance staff is Top notch. Mike (head of maintenance) is on top of any issues you may encounter. I had a issue that he took time after hours to stop by and let me know more

VERY VERY NOISY, IMAGINE PAYING 900 DOLLARS EACH MONTH AND YOU HEAR EVERYTIME SOMEONE ENTERS THEIR UNIT ON YOUR FLOOR OR THEIRS. THE WALLS ARE NOT INSULATED OR SOUND PROOFED, AS A RESULT YOU HEAR EACH TIME A CABINET IS CLOSED , EVERY TIME SOMEONE IN ANOTHER UNIT ENTERS THEIR SHOWER. VERY VERY NOISY, STAY AWAY. THEY WILL MARKET $500 FOR THE DEPOSIT, THEN THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED A more
