St Edwards Place I

Since The Property Society has assumed management of St. Edward's Place, management services have plummeted. What was an outstanding experience with the previous management, is now a substandard experience. To get a return call is near impossible. To quote a neighbor, to get any sort of action or response one has to hound the property manager. more

This place was ALRIGHT when it was run by Roscoe. I mean this place is old, built in the 70's the plumbing is weird, the cable jacks sporadically dont work, they split the water bill across all residents - and it's pricey, the HVAC systems are old and antiquated, electricity fluctuates all the time, and sometimes there is just no hot water. The saving grace was that more

Windsor Oaks is a great property, in an unbeatable Austin neighborhood (Clarkesville). It has spacious grounds, large courtyards, large pool, huge live oak trees and great living spaces. Easy walking to West Lynn, West 6th and Lamar shops and restaurants. The Owner residents, such as myself, love living here. As do most current tenants. It's quiet, beautiful and more

There are a lot of nice people who live here - people who want to live close to downtown but not pay downtown prices. It's great that there are two bus stops right outside the gate. We are within walking distance to Super Burrito and Sonic and Lubys and Cafe Creme. There are now free events that happen every month for residents. I like it here. There's a new manager and the leasing more

I have been in the property mgmt. business for about 5 years and have worked at multiple properties from Class A to C. I lived at Ventanna Oaks for 6 months. I have never seen such an unprofessional staff in my life. We lived close to 2 of the leasing agents and the manager. The leasing guy is a drunk and runs around the property in a golf cart at night after hours harassing residents like he owns more

What a horrible experience. As a Real Estate Professional, I was baffled by the lack of integrity the "Luxury" complex showed. From miscommunication on their fees to finding a condom on the grass near the pool when I was walking my dog, these were but a few reasons why we had such a horrible experience. When we did the walk-thru, our apartment wasn't cleaned properly. They more

So, I lived here for about 2 years. This place is not worth the money. My rent went up exorbitantly when I renewed and I only renewed because I work close by and it was convenient. But when I was hit with another ridiculous renewal hike, I had enough. Office staff seems friendly but one of them is CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY. I swear if you cross her she will go through your personal information. more

Where do I begin? This is by far the worst apartment complex we have ever lived in. Before we moved in they showed us a great place where everything was working perfectly. However, once we moved in the problems started. Firstly, they had to replace the letter box key. Then they robbed the place after we just had moved in. I later found out that it must have been some of the maintenance guys more

I truly believe that they use a "bait and switch" method, they model apartment they will show you is overly nice and gorgeous. The apartment I moved into was NOTHING NEAR the model. The first thing I noticed were the old hideous cabinetry, nothing like the newer dark walnut cabinets in the model. The next thing noticed were the ROACHES! Within the first week of living here, I had to call more

If all you need is some place to sleep, eat, and wash in-between classes, then this is probably your best bet. If you're looking for something a little bit fancier/bigger, then maybe check out the larger units that are available here. I've lived here for 7 months now, and I'm writing exclusively about the Studio/Efficiency unit (since that's what I live in). more

I lived here from September '04 until February '07 and every year just got progressively worse. I think my car got broken into at least 4 times, and most times they didn't even take anything! Yeah, it's on the east side but that doesn't give the apartment complex an excuse for being apathetic when it comes to their tenants property. Wouldn't move back here if you more

I started out with high hopes that Montevista would be a nice place to call home. Sadly, my hopes have been shattered by several factors. After living here two years, they tried to sneak in an outrageous hike in my already high rent, and so I decided to leave in search of greener pastures. I can t justify forking over the small fortune they wanted every month when there are so many more

I am a current tenant who cannot possibly look forward to moving so much. When I first moved in, I was very excited. Yes, its an older building, yes, its a semi crummy neighborhood..but it is conveniently located near my work and the price was right for the size (compared to the place I was just at). I was excited by new hardwood(laminit) floors, and brand new appliances. more

I lived at this apartment for three years. I originally had a one bedroom and loved the apartment at first; it is in a great location and was the perfect size and rent. Then, two years ago my AC broke during August and it took them a month to fix it. Then, for various reasons, I rented a two-bedroom with a roommate. When we moved in a year and half ago we reported that the stove and more

I lived at andrews place for a year, and they are by far the worst management I have dealt with. The only time I had ever seen a manager was when I signed my lease. If I called about something, such as the AC being broken(which it did, twice) the security gate being ripped off it's hinges(It never got fixed) or just question about the unit in general, I NEVER got a call back. more

This place was awful. I lived here during my first year of graduate school from the summer of 2010-summer of 2011. The location was amazing and the apartment was nice and bright and spacious, but other than that it was the worst living experience I've ever had. 1) Despite the fact that they had "new" AC units, my AC didn't work correctly the entire time I lived here. more

It seems that from the moment I signed the lease, I couldn't wait for it to be over. The condition of the unit was not as promised during the walk through. Of course we couldn't look at my unit because it was "occupied". The manager explicitly requested that you not write on the move-in condition list anything that you planned on putting in a service request for. Don't more

CARS BROKEN INTO. I do not recommend that you live at this apartment complex. In the time that I have lived here, my car has been broken into twice and my guest s was broken into. 2 of these incidents have occurred since the beginning of the year. Also, the insulation is terrible. Often, the electric bill for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment runs up to $200. Even paying $200, the more

Like anywhere else you live who are your neighbors and do you have a nice apt in a good location which can vary greatly here. Not a clean place to live and neighborhood is creepy not neighborly. Expensive rent and lights for little to no maintenance. Not a good place for elderly who need TLC. more
