So, I lived here for about 2 years. This place is not worth the money. My rent went up exorbitantly when I renewed and I only renewed because I work close by and it was convenient. But when I was hit with another ridiculous renewal hike, I had enough. Office staff seems friendly but one of them is CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY. I swear if you cross her she will go through your personal information. more

It seems that from the moment I signed the lease, I couldn't wait for it to be over. The condition of the unit was not as promised during the walk through. Of course we couldn't look at my unit because it was "occupied". The manager explicitly requested that you not write on the move-in condition list anything that you planned on putting in a service request for. Don't more

I live here and dont recommend living here unless you really have to and have no choice. Unless you know someone from around here, the father of my child is from this part of town he knows alot of people here I keep to myself but when I do go out no one bothers me and everyone is pretty nice. This is a ghetto, unsafe place cops are always at the people next doors apt. just the other day more

Well I moved in when i was three months old (i am now 18yrs old) and up to 5 years ago. it was okay. but then the knew management came in and it went down the drain. I remember when we use to call the maintance guys were so friendly and would come that same day to meet your needs but now the new ppl don't even care. There are roaches everywhere and ihave never seen so many roaches in my life. more

We rented for one year. I cannot recommend these apartments because our utility bill averaged four hundred dollars each month(we left the Riata to save money). It was so hot! When I first mention the A?C was failing, one person in the office told me to "just get some fans". The A/C guy came out many times but never replaced the unit or even cleaned the coils. There was a 20 foot attic more

I started out with high hopes that Montevista would be a nice place to call home. Sadly, my hopes have been shattered by several factors. After living here two years, they tried to sneak in an outrageous hike in my already high rent, and so I decided to leave in search of greener pastures. I can t justify forking over the small fortune they wanted every month when there are so many more

Do not, do not, DO NOT live here. It's absolutely awful. There are roaches and bed bugs, and the management refuses to do anything about it. There are also cigarette butts and garbage everywhere. We have extremely loud neighbors we have complained about several times and management does nothing. When we turn on the lights in one room, the lights in another room dim. We have more

If I had to do it all over again, I would live anywhere but here. The parking was terrible, the staff were snobby. I had to threaten to call the newspeople before the staff did anything about a rat that lived in my apartment for 3 months! This complex was a waste of money and a terrible place to live! more

While the apartments aren't too bad, a lot of the people here are rude and unfriendly. The maintenance staff is really great. The walls are rather thin. I can hear my neighbor snore at night and below me a baby crying at night. All of that said, I can't wait until my lease ends. The parking situation here makes living here frustrating beyond no end. There is really only 1 parking spot more

... and overall this place is on the nice end of mediocre. My apartment was the first to be remodeled with laminate floors, new appliances, ceramic tile (kitchenette and bath), and trim. The 3/4 size fridge and small pantry are annoying if you tend to shop in bulk, but the apartment is only about 425 sq feet, so it's "small" living anyway. The last of the sketchy more

Management (Christina) is a pain to deal with. I would suggest keep well-documented records and pictures of any communication you have with them (a good practice in general). When it comes time to move out they will take as much out of your deposit as possible, so the more items you keep documented as evidence the better. In general, they are very shady to deal with. The actual units are more

This place was awful. I lived here during my first year of graduate school from the summer of 2010-summer of 2011. The location was amazing and the apartment was nice and bright and spacious, but other than that it was the worst living experience I've ever had. 1) Despite the fact that they had "new" AC units, my AC didn't work correctly the entire time I lived here. more

I have lived in the Coppertree Apartments in Austin for about six months and can easily say it is the worst apartment complex I've ever gotten trapped in before. As I write this, it is not even 7:30 a.m. and men are pounding with hammers on the wall closest to where I sleep. This is the third time in the last seven days, and nobody in the office has bothered to explain why. Maintenance seems more

This used to be a very nice, pleasant, and quiet apartment complex and I lived there for many years. But for the last two years or so it got worse and worse and I'm glad I finally moved out! As others have already said, the parking situation is pathetic! In some areas the parking spaces aren't clearly marked. There are really old and not quite as old white lines but you more

These apartments suck. Most of the people here are weed heads and they smoke and drink anywhere with no respect for any one else. The office doesn't do anything that they say they will but take your money that's probably why they drive Cadillacs and infinitys. Smh!!! Do not move here unless you're ready to go through some bull crap. more
