First, the apartments have been renamed and "renovated." They are now known as Element Austin. We have lived here for 3 months and at first everything was typical apartment living until we got really settled. We have three neighbors with connecting walls to our unit, one to the left, one on our back wall and one above us. The upper floor apartments do not have carpet, they have laminate more

I relocated to the area site unseen and used an apartment finding service. This was one of the only locations with availability. For the most part, it was a good place to live. There have been issues, but I think that can be said for any property management company. I was a little put off by Denise when I signed my lease. She seemed to talk down to me, because I had never lived in an more

So, I lived here for about 2 years. This place is not worth the money. My rent went up exorbitantly when I renewed and I only renewed because I work close by and it was convenient. But when I was hit with another ridiculous renewal hike, I had enough. Office staff seems friendly but one of them is CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY. I swear if you cross her she will go through your personal information. more

Prior to January 2015 this was a Gables owned property and it was awesome. Friendly staff that enforced the rules and attentive maintenance staff that fixed most issues within 24 hours of reporting it. That was then, this is now. The complex was bought by Alliance. They only care about taking as much money from you as possible. They are a conglomerate that buys complexes in order to turn a profit. more

This apartment has been bought out and torn down, but I enjoyed my brief stay there.

- Expensive rent, but it included water & trash.
- High electricity bill.
- Furnished.
- Parking with permit.
- Maintenance was good.
- Lighting inadequate, both indoor and for the complex.
- Frequent noise from college parties.
- Could hear neighbor's cell phone more

There are a lot of nice people who live here - people who want to live close to downtown but not pay downtown prices. It's great that there are two bus stops right outside the gate. We are within walking distance to Super Burrito and Sonic and Lubys and Cafe Creme. There are now free events that happen every month for residents. I like it here. There's a new manager and the leasing more

If you live in the Courtyard Condominiums, make sure that your landlord is not Chad Wilson. Though he has been a landlord in Austin Texas for many years, he is unaware of tenants' rights in the state of Texas, and will attempt to extort fees from you simply because he believes he can. When I broke the lease early we found someone to replace me immediately. Chad Wilson decided to charge me more

I've lived here at the CR for nearly two years now and I've seen things drastically improved. It all changed when they got rid of that horrible manager -----, there was some validity to the old posts. Always, once the new management was put: in place maintenance requests have been answered faster, it's been quieter at night in the parking lot, there are more security more

Since The Property Society has assumed management of St. Edward's Place, management services have plummeted. What was an outstanding experience with the previous management, is now a substandard experience. To get a return call is near impossible. To quote a neighbor, to get any sort of action or response one has to hound the property manager. more

I lived at this apartment for three years. I originally had a one bedroom and loved the apartment at first; it is in a great location and was the perfect size and rent. Then, two years ago my AC broke during August and it took them a month to fix it. Then, for various reasons, I rented a two-bedroom with a roommate. When we moved in a year and half ago we reported that the stove and more

Windsor Oaks is a great property, in an unbeatable Austin neighborhood (Clarkesville). It has spacious grounds, large courtyards, large pool, huge live oak trees and great living spaces. Easy walking to West Lynn, West 6th and Lamar shops and restaurants. The Owner residents, such as myself, love living here. As do most current tenants. It's quiet, beautiful and more

What a horrible experience. As a Real Estate Professional, I was baffled by the lack of integrity the "Luxury" complex showed. From miscommunication on their fees to finding a condom on the grass near the pool when I was walking my dog, these were but a few reasons why we had such a horrible experience. When we did the walk-thru, our apartment wasn't cleaned properly. They more

Okay so I read all the reviews on here after I signed with the Castilian for the 2013/2014 school year and they definitely scared me about living here. But after living here I thought I would post my opinion of the place. After living there for 1 school year I renewed for the 2014/2015 school year. Where do I begin? This is by far the worst apartment complex we have ever lived in. Before we moved in they showed us a great place where everything was working perfectly. However, once we moved in the problems started. Firstly, they had to replace the letter box key. Then they robbed the place after we just had moved in. I later found out that it must have been some of the maintenance guys more

I truly believe that they use a "bait and switch" method, they model apartment they will show you is overly nice and gorgeous. The apartment I moved into was NOTHING NEAR the model. The first thing I noticed were the old hideous cabinetry, nothing like the newer dark walnut cabinets in the model. The next thing noticed were the ROACHES! Within the first week of living here, I had to call more

If all you need is some place to sleep, eat, and wash in-between classes, then this is probably your best bet. If you're looking for something a little bit fancier/bigger, then maybe check out the larger units that are available here. I've lived here for 7 months now, and I'm writing exclusively about the Studio/Efficiency unit (since that's what I live in). more
