There are several long term residents who love it. One man has been there 10 years. I have been there almost a year and plan to stay.
On the negative. Nothing more than any other older apartment. Hot water issues, old buildings...etc. But it more
07/07/09 by anonymous: i have lived here for over two years. paid rent on time and kept my place looking better than 99% of the apartments in here. recently decided to move and gave proper notice. late by not even a week on my rent and get an eviction notice on my door. whats with that. i never complained the month we went without hot water or of the unsantiary conidtions of the laundry room or garbage area. more
08/09/14 by anonymous: I have lived at Indigo Apartments managed by Greystone for over one year now. When I moved in the leasing office staff was managed by Jenifer. Jenifer had an awesome staff who were friendly and professional and loved their tenants! Jenifer transferred to another Greystone Community and the rest of her team left too (except the lovely Laura). The current leasing manager, assistant manager, and new more
04/17/05 by anonymous: I lived in a 1 bed for a year, then 2 bed for second year. Only moved b/c I wanted washer/dryer in unit.
Even though you're right by Mo-Pac, it's not bad and you never hear the neighbors unless through windows. Not much money put back into the apts though, sigh.
All neighbors are wonderful, it's like a whole community, w/o staff help.
Park under lights unless you want your more

09/25/07 by anonymous: they are not so bad if you are in a financial bind and you need to stay in low incom. they are probibly one of the nicest looking low incom apt in austin. the area is not the gretest b/c of the crime but what do you exspect in low income. home is what you make it. more
09/22/14 by melyndayoung: We lived in Parkside at Lake Creek from 2011 to 2013. We enjoyed many aspects of living at Parkside: The location is wonderful. It is in the established, quiet and wooded Anderson Mill neighborhood, within walking distance of 2 neighborhood pools (other than those at the apartment complex) and several parks. It is also very close to Lakeline Mall, both RM 620 and 183, and several stores. If you more
05/19/09 by colorblindmind: My property was damaged and I was not paid back. You have to do 4 hours of labor and a suprise labor holiday (4 more hours in one weekend!!!). You can hear everything through the walls (I couldn't ever go pee because my suitemate made disturbing sounds when having sex). If they are not foreign most people are snobby or in your face. I am a people person, but I hated way too many people more
08/27/10 by anonymous: The place is constantly changing managers so there is no consistency there (aside from the fact that all the managers are really unprofessional and disrespectful. Parking was always a problem if you wanted to bring friends because they had so little guest parking space and the towing company knew that that place was a goldmine. Has a lot of problems with my apartment and had to be repairing it more
05/17/10 by ChristianReviewer: I will begin by saying that it is always wise to visit any property twice before renting...once during the day then again at night...preferably on weekends. Secondly, people with different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds often converge in apartment settings without much success because they do not understand or respect each others language, culture, etc. I had to say this because more
09/16/08 by adamfranklin50: this is a very old complex and it must be hard to keep up! ely properties will fix most problems but not everything because there is talk the complex is going to bre torn down. I would rent again from ely properties and dont see a reason why anyone else wouldn't either! more
04/27/07 by anonymous: These apartments are currently not very good. Don't be fooled by the nice landscaping. Inside, these apartments are straight from the 80's and have dingy carpeting and popcorn ceilings. The showers and bathrooms are totally outdated and depressing. The bills can be high due to inefficient air conditioners and appliances.
We have experienced a lot of crime, my friend had his more
11/07/12 by anonymous: This is my 3rd year staying at VIP Apartments and I would definitely recommend it as a place to live. The rent is cheap, it is very close to campus. You can easily walk to class in 15 minutes, but if you prefer not to walk there are bus stops conveniently located right outside the building with the IF bus coming every 10 minutes and the 5 bus every 30. If you have your own car parking is more

07/11/14 by ktdid2641: I lived at Delwood for almost a year from October 2013-June 2014 and had a great experience living there. Pros: - great management and great response time for maintenance requests (Thanks Jeremy!) -excellent location to Cherrywood neighborhood, coffee shops, and Manor Rd. -Quiet and respectful tenants (most seemed to be mid 20's-mid 30's, working professionals) -You cannot beat the more
06/27/14 by anonymous: IF youre seeking a property in which youre treated fairly and allowed to live in peace with your family then this is not the property for you. The reviews about Cynthia Ellis Brown the manager of these apartments are completely accurate, whether some complaints about her are based on real issues or not can every complaint about her be false? How can so many people be wrong about one individual? I more
09/11/13 by anonymous: have been living here 2 years. I hope to find another place I can afford someday. If you can stand the NOISE, extreme lack of privacy, limited laundry availability, uneducated and stubborn low income people, to use the antipoverty services the property provides and then move on, this place will help. Cons No privacy: - Everyone can actually hear every intimate detail of their more
06/21/13 by sashagirl2013: Super convenient to campus! Easy walk to campus and designated parking! I have been here 3 years and my place is great. The inside is well made with wood flooring and tile, full size washer and dryer, has a real wood burning fireplace. Never had a problem with roaches or any pests. Love the easy access to downtown. more
