I lived in a 1 bed for a year, then 2 bed for second year. Only moved b/c I wanted washer/dryer in unit.
Even though you're right by Mo-Pac, it's not bad and you never hear the neighbors unless through windows. Not much money put back into the apts though, sigh.
All neighbors are wonderful, it's like a whole community, w/o staff help.
Park under lights unless you want your more

We lived in Parkside at Lake Creek from 2011 to 2013. We enjoyed many aspects of living at Parkside: The location is wonderful. It is in the established, quiet and wooded Anderson Mill neighborhood, within walking distance of 2 neighborhood pools (other than those at the apartment complex) and several parks. It is also very close to Lakeline Mall, both RM 620 and 183, and several stores. If you more

This apartments are fantastic, I've lived here for nearly two years now and I absolutely love the management, Pete is a fantastic person who is always ready to lend a hand and help out, quick to respond to situations and has the best interest of his tenants at heart. There is some construction going on next door, building a condo of some sorts, so a few times they have shut off the water to more

The place is constantly changing managers so there is no consistency there (aside from the fact that all the managers are really unprofessional and disrespectful. Parking was always a problem if you wanted to bring friends because they had so little guest parking space and the towing company knew that that place was a goldmine. Has a lot of problems with my apartment and had to be repairing it more

I will begin by saying that it is always wise to visit any property twice before renting...once during the day then again at night...preferably on weekends. Secondly, people with different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds often converge in apartment settings without much success because they do not understand or respect each others language, culture, etc. I had to say this because more

My family and I have lived here for a little over three years now and love our apartment. Unlike other apartments, it has a very cozy, home feel. Washer and dryer are in unit, bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Grounds are kept clean and well maintained. There is a real sense of community here that I have never encountered with any other complex I have lived in. Pool and gym are always clean. more

have been living here 2 years. I hope to find another place I can afford someday. If you can stand the NOISE, extreme lack of privacy, limited laundry availability, uneducated and stubborn low income people, to use the antipoverty services the property provides and then move on, this place will help. Cons No privacy: - Everyone can actually hear every intimate detail of their more

These apartments are currently not very good. Don't be fooled by the nice landscaping. Inside, these apartments are straight from the 80's and have dingy carpeting and popcorn ceilings. The showers and bathrooms are totally outdated and depressing. The bills can be high due to inefficient air conditioners and appliances.

We have experienced a lot of crime, my friend had his more

This is my 3rd year staying at VIP Apartments and I would definitely recommend it as a place to live. The rent is cheap, it is very close to campus. You can easily walk to class in 15 minutes, but if you prefer not to walk there are bus stops conveniently located right outside the building with the IF bus coming every 10 minutes and the 5 bus every 30. If you have your own car parking is more

When I first move to Austin from Laredo with a job transfer, this place was good to me. I never had any problems except for the hit and run on the weekend of 4th of July 2000. We woke up the next day just to find my pickup had been smashed sometime during the night. The only other problem I had was one of my women neighbors couldn't wait 20 seconds for me to take out my clothes from the more

Pretty problematic accommodation: (1) a/c usually goes down in the summer, (2) maintenance staff didn't fix properly several things, (3) carpet wasn't changed for ages, (4) roaches found in the living room (some neighbor found a rat in their kitchen too), (5) inside air makes you feel like living in a dungeon, it stinks mold, (6) windows are not allowed to be opened therefore it is quite more

IF youre seeking a property in which youre treated fairly and allowed to live in peace with your family then this is not the property for you. The reviews about Cynthia Ellis Brown the manager of these apartments are completely accurate, whether some complaints about her are based on real issues or not can every complaint about her be false? How can so many people be wrong about one individual? I more

UT College students, do not live at Nueces Oaks or any apartment complex under Marquis Management for that matter. From the moment we signed our lease, they were ripping us off. We filled out an application for a specific apartment unit for a specific monthly rent and when we went to sign the lease, they decided to increase the rent without any prior notification just because they wanted to. more
