We moved in when the temperatures were around 104. Hot. It was awesome to find that our A/C did not work. We contacted management (by phone) multiple times, but nobody came to fix it. Apparently, at the time, somebody was supposed to be working the afternoons there and the mornings at another property, but she NEVER actually showed up for her afternoon shifts. We made about 10 more

I lived at Dolphin Apartments for two years in an efficiency. During my time there, my apartment was robbed, I had to deal with an excessively loud neighbor, and dodgy outdoor lighting that left me paranoid after my break-in. Burglars broke in my kitchen window and proceeded to take many of my belongings. When I called the office, they didn't even send someone out to fix my more

I have had a truly horrible experience living in these apartments. The management is rude and unhelpful, and the maintenance department is incapable of doing it's job, to say the very least. The air conditioning unit in my apartment has been broken for over a year, and has twice caused the ceiling in my bathroom to collapse. There have been two attempts by the "maintenance" more

I have literally been amazed at how RUDE the manager, Patty, has been to me on several occasions. They give free Amy's Ice Cream to anybody that will give them a positive review on Yelp!--so I would seriously question the veracity of any positive reviews online about this place. Especially since nobody I've talked to here is happy with the management. Small issue compared to more

The apartments here are pretty old and some stuff needs to be updated. No dishwasher, garbage disposal nor laundry on premises. Crime here is kinda bad, especially during the summer, too many homeless wander down these streets to feel safe around here, but it's close to campus so you get what you pay for. $800 a month for rent without utilities is way too high for these tiny more

This bedbug infestation now goes by "WATERLOO EAST!" What isn't wrong with this apartment complex? 1.) Non-responsive management. (Don't even post office hours anymore) Non disclosure about bedbug infestations in apartments. 2.) Apartments falling apart, constant infestations rats, roaches, bedbugs, waterbugs with cracked foundations. 3.) High usage fees. (in more

Hello, I have a lease signed and am preparing to move in this Saturday. I was curious as to what unit you were/are? in that is infested and when your apartment was sprayed by pest control. I am so sorry to hear about your problem and am trying to do everything I can to avoid it for myself. more

I have lived here at Lotus Village Apartments for a little over a year now, and I can say it is a great place to live. There are some negatives, but that comes from any property. This by far has been my best home yet. The office staff are wonderful, and i feel like i can go to them with any concerns. The maintenence is awesome! My requests are fixed within 24 hours. i enjoy living at southfork apartments. i have lived here for several months. the rent amount is great, it is quiet, it is located in a very convenient area, and the neighbors are all looking out for each other. yes, it is an older property, but it is a very nice place to live. there is a clean pool, a great bus line that picks up/drops off right in front of the more

The people writing these reviews have clearly never lived in New York or any other large city if they are complaining about this building. Rent is pretty cheap (I pay $1295 for a 1 bed/bath, including cable, internet, parking, and water), and the apartments are decent. Management isn't great, but I only deal with them a few times a year. I'm also not an idiot, more

The apartments are infested with bedbugs. The manager Irma makes contracts under other people's names. She gossips and when she is confronted she blames someone else. Nothing gets repaired. The place is ran down and falling apart. A lot of drug activity. The swimming pool is green and nasty 90% of the time. The stoves catch fire and throw sparks . Not a very good place to live. I have lived here for 4 years and really haven't had any problems. The parking isn't the greatest, but I have never had my car broken into or damaged. I usually have had any problems fixed within a day. The staff is nice and courteous but seems to change often. It's pretty quiet here. more

i lived here for a long time until recently. as far as parking goes, the parking policy was schizo. every 6 to 8 months they instituted a new policy of having to have stickers to avoid towing. but this was never enforced. a few months later you would have to get a new sticker. noise...my neighbors were mostly pretty good but the building next to the leasing office was a mad house. the more

The good: Convenient location - really convenient; HEB right up the road, Savers and CVS right down the street, two bus stops near by. Fairly low-crime neighborhood. Neighbors are pretty friendly. It's obvious, this place use to be a motel that got converted into an apartment complex. NONE of the units have a washer/dryer hook-up, so we all have to use the community laundry room downstairs. Oh, and pray that the credit card slider functions because there's no options to stick quarters as a back-up payment method. There's been a couple of times their machines were more
