Suddenly we have loud neighbors who throw trash all over and let their dogs crap all over the small grassy area we do have. Two people have pitbulls. Yuck. One person hangs laundry on the banisters even though we have W/D on site. Looks pretty ghetto when they do it.

Like previous user mentioned, you can't take a shower without burning or freezing. Electric bill is a little high. No more

Do yourself a favor and find another place to live. This is the noisiest apartment I have ever lived in. I can hear my downstairs neighbors' conversations, when they flush the toilet, I can hear their TV, their stereo, when he coughs, which is a lot. The apartments are poorly constructed and vibrate with every little movement. The appliances are cheap, the counter tops are cheap, the more

The apartments in this complex are really nice. However, what they didn't tell me when I moved in (in August) was that they were building a huge complex - the second half of the building - behind my apartment building, so all I can hear, all day (I work from home) is the insanely loud beeping of bulldozers. It's bounces off all of the buildings and, since the rest of the area is fairly more

If you rent here you will be sorry. Ely Properties, the management company, is the worst most crooked, and sadistic organization I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. The complex itself would be nice if you did not have to deal with the jerks at Ely. more

This property is not luxurious by any means, do not let the pictures fool you! The rooms are small, the walls are thin, one side of the building is next door to a fraternity, the pool is 3 ft deep with no outside furniture, the parking garage has been broken since I moved in over 3 months ago and is abused by students without passes, the garage is covered in garbage, more

Even though the neighbourhood is quiet you will not be able to open the window because of the noise from neighbour's a/c. Be prepared to give 6 month before they replace or repair anything. Invest in a good alarm for your car and keep your ears open. I had two bicycles stolen right outside front door and a motorcycle! All those crimes would not stop the mail man to leave your package right more

This rat hole should be condemned. I lived in the squalor known as Mayfair for 3 years. This was the epitome of life as a starving artist. The air conditioner constantly froze solid, even when setting the thermostat at a reasonable 76 degrees. The leaky pipes were so bad that mold grew in almost every corner, and the toilet in the upstairs bathroom actually FELL through the ceiling. The floor more

These are completely horrible living conditions. I feel like I was tricked into living here as the housing authority wouldn't let me see the apartment unless I signed the lease first. Even then they delayed me seeing the apartment telling me it was being remodeled. The day I saw my apartment for the first time I cried. The place was filthy and dirty. There were roaches laying dead in more

everyone is nice to you once you move in. Later you find out and see the prostitution and drug dealings going. what makes it so bad is the property manager and owner knows of these activities. if you have children, i would not recommend this place. if you are a prostitute, and drug user, or drug dealer, this is the perfect place. more

It was ok living here in the fall semester, but this spring has been so horrible that I cannot WAIT to move out of here! I have had no hot water at least half of the time since January, no kidding! EVERY WEEK, at least for one day, I have had to skip a shower or use a friend's. I found myself showering at odd times of the day just to catch the hot water if it happened to be more

The elevators never work The hot tub has green algae in it and it doesn't work The stairwells are full of trash. Once, the trash wasn't picked up for 2 weeks and there was trash everywhere and the dumpsters were overflowing. There is no onsite management and the number you call, nobody cares to help you. There is absolutely no maintenance. The secure parking garage is not more

Office staff needs to work on customer service skills!!!! Unsupervised kids at the pool and all over the complex!! A few crimes here and there as any other neighborhood. Check 311 or the police website for any reported incidents. They need better insulation in the apartments. In the winter you can feel the breeze coming in in all windows thru the weather stripping on the main and patio doors. more

Peppertree apartments property is a set of small units. The property is old (1974) and it seems that maintenance has not been among their main priorities. Maintenance is provided by 512 Realty as well as all the required administrative stuff (rent, etc). The parking area does not have proper lighting. The only good thing about this place is the location. more

The management team for Peyton Place also handles a group of duplexes in Sunset Valley as they share the same telephone number. As a co-signer for my son on one of the Sunset Valley duplexes, I must say the manager (------) is the most incompetent, rude and unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. I have worked for Pleasant Hill Apartments for two days in maintenance. The apartment manager Barbara is rude! The second day on the job Barbara said she saw my Facebook page and knows that I'm gay. She told me she loves Duck Dynasty and stands with robertson's beliefs that being gay is wrong. Barbara told me that there is no difference between a homosexual person and a pedophile. I went more
