When our toilets overflowed in the building and soaked the carpet with feces and urine, they took out padding, and put fans under the carpet, which effectively aerosolized and distributed the pathogens throughtout our apartment, making my wife and me sick.
<br>Our vehicles, in this "gated community" have been broken into, and our effects stolen, my truck had the column broken and they almost got away with the truck. Maintenance does "patch" jobs and not real repairs. When one of us leaned against the shower wall, it literally collapsed due to the rot that had destroyed the structural integrity of the sheetrock (which had turned to mush). We had a continual leak in the kitchen from one of the rotten pipes, which, even though we continued to make them affirmatively aware of the problem, was not repaired, and the wall behind our refrigerator, rotted away, exposing supporting beams which were covered in black mold. Their approach to this after we demanded something to be done since the kitchen was literally getting flooded (and tile destroyed therein) was to set up a humidifier for a day, and to put new linoleum down.
