I love this place, and hate to leave it. Its really convenient, located smack in the middle of UT and ACC-Rio Grande, about 4-5 blocks to either. I rarely drive anywhere. The management is the best i've ever had--she gives out her cell phone, and when there's a problem she's on it within hours, sometimes minutes. She's very laid-back and easy-going, and a real pleasure to deal with.

Its an older building--it used to be some kind of hospital--but my favorite part about that is the toilets. They're the industrial kind--'nuff said. :) The downside to the age of the building is that there aren't any dishwashers. There are these really old stove/oven/sink/minifridge units that are actually pretty cool--kind of retro. in most units there's also a regular sized fridge. Also, the walls are concrete, so barring someone hammering on your wall, you don't hear a thing from other apartments. I lived above the guy who used to play bass all the time (mentioned in another review) and once i closed my outside door, you couldn't hear him. That reviewer must have lived next door to him or something.

The community here is very cool and friendly--we have impromptu gatherings in the pool all the time.

Bottomline--if you're looking for a great student apartment, this is it.
