I've lived here about a year, and I love it. Easily the best place I've lived in Austin.
First, the good: The managers are friendly and helpful, and the maintenance crew are prompt to get things done. The apartment is also in good repair and other than a few floor tiles coming loose -- which were promptly fixed -- I haven't had any real problems. The heater/AC work extremely well, the rugs are soft and clean, and I haven't had any bug problems.
The fitness center is kept clean and in working order, and I've never had any difficulty finding a workout machine even during seemingly peak times.
The stairwell outside my bedroom used to rattle obnoxiously, keeping me up at night, but the maintenance crew fixed it so now I can get a good night's sleep even if my neighbors are coming and going. I'm putting this under the "good" things cause I think it's great that they fixed it.
Now for the downsides...
If you're going to live here, you need to get either a covered parking spot or a garage, because finding non-assigned parking spots can be difficult at night. Whenever my friends come to visit the nearest spot they can find is usually several buildings away. They generally can find a parking spot, which is good, but it might not be close by.
Also, there isn't enough sound insulation on the apartments. I can sometimes hear my upstairs neighbors and anyone in the parking lot. I'm fortunate, though, in that my neighbors are quiet and only do their laundry/dishes during the daytime, and people don't tend to hang out in the parking lot. I imagine that it would be much more annoying if either of those things weren't true, but, since those things are true, it's a pretty quiet apartment.
Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment complex. It's safe, clean, relatively quiet, and in a great location where you can easily access either Mopac or I-35.
