This was my very first apt... And my first experience living in hell.... I was only there 4 months before begging to be releases from my lease because maintenance felt they could enter whenever they felt like it even tho there weren't work orders and my key was flagged. They knew I was a single female living alone and when I came home once to a man telling me he fixed a drippy faucet that had been fixed days prior and Another worked order had not been sent. Yet I still never got an explanation for what he was doing in there for 40 mins!!!!!! And even after that I stayed....that was at least the 3rd thing to happen within the first two months i was there. The last staw was when they wouldn't fix my ac for 4 days when thy finally did it was out the next day...called to have it fixed and in a matter of mins someone was there.... Not something I'm used to and they are still supposed to call anytime someone uses my key.. They did not. And the maintenance man physically pushed passed me to get in my apt. I had a friend over who didn't take this situation very well. Went and spoke with the man to get his name and more info and all he would tell her is DON'T REPORT ME!!! Yet colonial village says they did nothing wrong. The manager refused to speak with me and I had to go above and beyond and get corporate info before any isuue was every addresses. The first an only time I saw the manager was when she was giving dirty looks as I signed my lease release. Very professional. Also parking is horrible. I payed $75 for a garage no where near my apt just so I could park in the complex, no carports available. Complex was falling apart when I was there, like actual patios about to crumble, although I do think they are addressing that issue.
