Resident 2011

Honestly the apartment complex is a nice, safe place. The neighbors are friendly and while sirens are heard nearby quite often, that just means if you get stabbed or something the authorities will respond quickly. I've lived here for almost 4 months and can't complain. The laundry facilities (on-site) are a bit of a joke because there are 2 (working) washers and 3 dryers that I couldn't get to work but everything's dirty and there were wasps inside. The "deck" isn't really all that attractive to hang out on, but I'm sure others may enjoy it. Garbage fees per month (which is included in electric--the only bill to pay for this complex) are about thirty bucks so I don't know if that's a good deal or not, just annoying. The AC units in the apartment cool everything really well and my actual electricity bill easily is under fifty. The fact that there is no dishwasher isn't a problem at all. All the appliances and walls and floors etc are in great condition and maintenance responds very quickly to any requests. A con is that they won't really approve anyone for pets but if they do, your carpet has to be older than 2 years old. Then the deposit is three hundred, two hundred of which is automatically theirs. There is tons of available parking and a mcdonald's right down the road. The walls and floors are extremely thin, however, and don't be surprised if you can hear your neighbor snoring. You get used to it. For such a cheap rent, this is a very nice apartment place. The office people are very helpful.
