I have lived here a year and hope my review help you decide whether to rent here or not.
Pros:
Close to 2 tollways - George Bush & Dallas Tollway
Close to dog park - Walking distance from it and pet friendly
Staffs - They are decent staffs
Elevator - Easy moving to 4th floor
Noise level - Inside is pretty quiet even though they are literally right next to Bush. Outside by the garage is very loud though
Cons:
Close to 2 tollways - Has its cons. I spent $140 a month on average using the tollways
Electricity bill - I was being billed by Reliant between $50-$300 a month for 1 bedroom 900 sqsft apartment. It was totally ridiculous so I changed to green mountain. It was slightly better but both electric companies blamed poor insulation of the apartment for such a high electric bill.
Water bill - It's divided among community... so even when I did not use water much while gone on trip for over half month, I was still billed about $20. That's a lot for water.
Low Security - I saw security guard at the complex maybe like 8 days out of 365 days I lived there. And there is no gate. There were a lot of criminal activity reported in the complex.
If you are a female, I would be worried about living here... I am a male and got mugged here on the complex close to garage.
Summary:
I would have liked to give better rating but they sent me a letter trying to charge me for "dirty oven" - $15. I even hired professional to clean and I cleaned myself as well right before I dropped the keys. I called and now they claim it was "dirty microwave." They were really shady about it and would not budge.
Then they tried to blame the cleaning service I used. I talked to the manager and even she was super ------ about it and basically made me feel like I was lying. Why would I clean the whole place but leave just 1 thing dirty for them? My eyes must have been deceiving me before I left.
Honestly, this place was better with previous ownership with previous management...
Ever since new ownership came in with Lincoln property management, they have gone downhill. In the future, I plan to avoid any place with Lincoln Property Management in place.
