My lease is up the end of December. After coming back from Thanksgiving vacation today I discovered a note on my front door. A "Leasing Party Invitation". They are raising my rent $180!!! I guess they need the money to pay for the potholes in the parking lot that have been there for over 2 years. Maybe they want to upgrade the traffic cones they have been using in those pot holes instead of actually repairing them!
Funny thing is, I had my Mom call the leasing office and inquire as to the current rent rate for a 2br/2ba. They quoted her $855 over the phone but they are raising *my* rent to $980/mo. for the same apartment!???!

In reference to special rates offered to new tenants, which are sometimes offered so that Haverly Park remains competitive, I can't speak to the policies of the old management. But I think you'll be happy with my new policy: I am happy to offer current tenants the same deals at renewal time that any new prospective tenant would receive. That's only fair.

In reference to potholes, since I've come on board we've cleared our backlog and greatly reduced the time it takes for a new repair or maintenance item to be addressed. If you see a new pothole or an item that needs to be repaired, please let me know and I'll address it immediately.
