Do you really want an honest review of these apartments? Well here you go. I m not going to tell you my whole life experience at these apartments but I will tell you these key things I ve experienced. 1. The turnaround time for maintenance to do THEIR JOB is ridiculous. I can t remember how many work orders I called to check on and they would either tell me we re not seeing a work order open for you or the status has been changed to completed when in fact, nothing was ever done. a. Side note: Besides the tall, skinny fella, none of the maintenance staff does their job. He s always the one that has to come back after they ve left and fix everything correctly. He s also the only one who does it without being a jerk. i. Double Side Note: I see there is a new guy working that may be over maintenance now, maybe things won t be the same with him. Let s give him the benefit of the doubt! 2. The bugs and squirrels at these apartments drive me crazy! Not so much the squirrels, although they do get noisy but the bugs are out of this world. Since we ve stayed here, we ve had spiders, HUGE roaches, wasps everywhere and geckos running amuck. Now before you draw any conclusions, both I and my boyfriend have OCD so trust me, it was not a cleanliness issue. a. Side note: Pest control comes every Friday, they spray outside unless you request them to come inside. I m sure this helps .but not to the degree I think management believes it does. 3. The staff at these apartments is unprofessional, negligent, sometimes incompetent and a little amateurish. Let me explain. There are a lot of complaints that go unwarranted here. I myself have complained on numerous occasions about the random guy walking around asking for money, about the drug dealers in the parking lot and about the smell of marijuana smoke coming from upstairs and NOTHING has been done about it (to my knowledge anyway). a. Side Note: I do say amateurish because I feel if I do file a complaint on a neighbor, it shouldn t be the apartments job to give me their first and last name, make of car they have on the property and who lives with them. That s privileged information and I would hope they weren t doing the same to me or my boyfriend. 4. The structure of these apartments isn t the worse I ve seen but they could be better. Staying on the first floor is a drag. The floors are so thin we hear EVERYTHING our upstairs neighbor does. It s not his fault, it s the apartments. We went upstairs and it explained everything. The fake woods they use on the floors are so thin it s no wonder we hear his every move. 5. I haven t had any issues personally with the new management but oh does our neighbor give us an earful on a daily basis. I can t speculate behind he say/she say but I can tell you this; after the new management moved in the entire (ALMOST)old staff moved out not to mention a more than noticeable amount of tenants. Again, I can t speculate on this but one can only assume 6. The crime in this area is not worth the rent you pay. We ve had cars stolen, tires slashed, windows shattered, our neighbors motorcycle even got stolen. Not saying it s the apartment s fault but being the only site with no gates in that area makes us a great target. The area is getting bad so you risk that moving here too. 7. Lastly, let s talk about parking. Unless you are willing to shell out the additional $15 a month for parking, BEWARE. We can hardly ever find parking ourselves, and it s a mess when we have visitors. They have to park on the other side of the complex and we have to drive them back to our apartment. It s a nightmare. Not all of my experiences at this place have been bad, but the cons definitely outweigh the pros here. Unless this new management gets in and turns things around, I don t see things getting any better. GOOD LUCK!

Dear Anonymous, This is Amy Watson, the new manager here at Haverly Park. Even though this is an anonymous review, IĆ¢??d like to get to know your situation better so we can better address what youĆ¢??ve brought up in your complaint. Turnaround time on maintenance requests is really, really important to you, as youĆ¢??ve shared, but also to us. If itĆ¢??s something simple, or if itĆ¢??s a major repair, we want to make sure that youĆ¢??re always taken care of as quickly as possible. ThatĆ¢??s why we set our 24-hour maintenance turnaround guarantee. We take it that seriously. So in your case, please reach out and let us know a few more specifics about your maintenance history. ThatĆ¢??s because we canĆ¢??t improve without more information on which unit you were in, which problems you had, and where we fell short. We regularly do pest control, like you mentioned. In cases where the regular application is not sufficient, we still want to stay on top of the problem. If that means an additional application, or a special treatment, then please let us know Ć¢?? today. We are ready to jump on this now. Oftentimes, we can get complaints online before we get a maintenance request, so we want to make sure we get both and nip the problem in the bud. WeĆ¢??ve recently brought in new staff members. I am very impressed with the caliber of their efforts, and how theyĆ¢??ve really been working to take our community to the next level. When they fall short, and everyone can from time to time, I welcome your feedback. Please call and let me know. I certainly appreciate it, and they Ć¢?? being the type of people they are Ć¢?? really take it to heart and want to also improve. So if thereĆ¢??s something a staff member has done to fall short, please donĆ¢??t hesitate to let me know. But I think that as you get to know them better, youĆ¢??ll be very pleasantly surprised. TheyĆ¢??re hard-working, anxious to please, and professional. Lastly, can we address your concern about parking?Haverly Park has guaranteed parking available. Carports are only $15.00/month and can added to your lease at any time. Can we set that up for you? Please call me at 972-732-6264 or e-mail haverlyparkmgr@cottonwoodres.com and we can get the ball rolling on improving your experience, our team, and the Haverly Park community. Sincerely, Amy Watson Community Manager
