I received phony statement from property management involving replacing micrawave keypad, heavy cleaning around microwave/oven, and carpet. When I walked the apt with the apt rep there were no problem in the apt. I also have photo evidence of the condition of the apt when I moved out which clearly demonstrates that the statement is phony. They claim that the microwave keypad is beyond repair and need to be replaced. If I had a problem with the keypad I would have got it fixed while staying there rather than wait until I leave. Me an dmy family have used it in perfect condition even on the day we moved out. Everything was fine. The apt rep did not even bring this up on the final walk thru. If there was a problem with the keypad it does not require a professional to say that it doesnt work. anybody could tell. My second point is about the heavy soil around backsplash and around microwave.oven. Even this was not seen in final walk tru and all of a sudden shows in move out statement more than a month later.third point is about the carpet. My wife got injured in the apt because of the nail sticking out of the carpet. I immediately brought it to the attention of the apt management and said it needs to be fixed and the blood stain due to injury should not be passed on to me since the apt contractor did not do a good job in carpet installation and apt management provided an unsafe dwelling unit to my family which includes a 2 and half year old son. They chared me $40 for this. In summary they have sent me bogus statement involving false allegations in order to avoid paying me back the security deposit. During the stay in the apt there was a hole in the wall in the living room about 3inch wide and 2 inch long. Because of this hole whenever it rained water would just flow into the apt (not even trickle). It took more than a month for the apt management to fix the issue. When i claimed for the damages due to increased utility costs due to big hole they flat out denied any compensation. I am willing to share the all the photos that prove my statement. I am not the only person having issues with the apt management. Another couple who left the apt community a month or so before I left are also dealing with the same kind of issues of bogus statements and claims from the apt management. The apt management is running a scam in here and it needs to stop. Innocent residents are given bogus when they leave and when they dispute the apt management has only one response "if you have a problem just pay the fines we are telling you to pay and then go to court. if you dont pay we will destroy your credit history by sending it to collection agency" this is a rude and unethical way of running the business and should stop.
