I have lived here for almost a year, and for the money, this place is not worth it. In my opinion, the only reason for the high price is the pond, and the outside curb appeal. I have read some other reviews before deciding to write one myself, and one reviewer was spot on. The "tennis court" and "volleyball net" are a joke, and look like they belong in a ------ somewhere, rather than upscale "luxury" apartments. Another reviewer mentioned people digging through the dumpsters, and I see this constantly. I know this is not the management's fault, but it is still a little unnerving.
The entry gates are quite often broken, allowing anyone access, and even though you can pay for a fob that will open the gates for you, they only work on the front gates, and do not give you access to the other gate to get into the property. (I was told by management that this is because the gate on Riverside is on a different frequency, why they can't adjust it to work for all residents who paid for a fob is beyond me).
The staff is hit or miss. Wayne is fantastic, very professional and friendly, and is one of the main reasons I moved here, (after taking a tour) but some of the other staff are rude, unprofessional and act like a phone call to the office is a bother to them, almost making you feel like you should apologize for daring to call them.
Emergeny maintenance is very quick to respond, and professional (my experience was the front door lock sticking and not letting me in the apartment, maintenance was there within 15 minutes) but "routine" maintenance is a joke (like taking over 6 weeks and 4 phone calls to change a light bulb on the front porch, in which case the office told me to "be patient"). As much as they charge for rent, being told to "be patient" is unacceptable.
Parking is hit or miss. Covered parking is provided, which is great if you have 1 car, but a married couple with 2 cars will have to find other parking spots, which is where the hit or miss comes in. You can not pay for an extra reserved spot.
You are charged every month for trash concierge service, (you don't have a choice in the matter) but this has turned out to be a very convenient service (just put your trash outside the door and it is removed for you, except for Friday and Saturday night).
Overall, this is not a bad community, but considering you could purchase a house for the price you pay here, it is not worth the money. I have lived in other luxury apartments, with cheaper rent, that were much nicer on all aspects I have mentioned here. When my lease is up, I will be moving.
