Overall: good neighborhood, standard-issue apartments, friendly but disempowered staff, brutal towing policy. This complex was a lucky find for someone moving to Houston from out of state. The most obvious benefit of this complex is the neighborhood. It's in a rare walkable part of Houston, with lots of restaurants nearby. Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are within a very short walk-I more

Nightmare. From the day we moved in we were harassed by the upstairs neighbor. The staff was rude and it took several times to get maintenance to come out when it was needed. They would forget to write up our requests. Myself and other of my neighbors got many threats to remove our property from our balcony. Such as beach towels and floats drying after a day at the pool. Even though they have more

Having Recently gone through some hard times; I came to the Retreat, the kindness and warmth shown to me by Erica, the manager, is what made me decide that The Retreat would be our new home. And to top it off, it is just such a beautiful and peaceful environment! more

This is a decent complex for the money. Maintenance is competent and efficient. The office staff is friendly and efficient as well. The landscaping is decent and it's close to great shopping and restaurants. You can walk right across the street to the grocery store/cleaners/coffee shops and a plethora of other cool places. The only complaint I had was the dumpsters were in full view, which is more

I love Carrington, the 1x1 are so big (almost 900 sq feet) & for a reasonable price. The beltway & hwy 45 is 5 mins away and you can walk to the AMC 30 movie theater (how awesome is that). Me & my hubby look forward to living here for about 2 to 3 years (depending on the rent increase) after that we would like a house. The office staff Joelle & Kim seem very nice, I love how they live on property more

I just moved out of this complex after 6 months and I would have to say it was the worst apartment experience I've ever had. The leasing staff is OK with routine tasks however when an issue arises, they are incompetent to say the least. The first week I moved in we needed pest control to come and the leasing staff had so many miscommunications with my roommates and myself which resulted in more

Overall the apartment complex is very nice looking and well kept; however, the parking arrangements are very poorly oraganized. The parking is so horrible, it is a nightmare. I have never lived an apartment complex that has made something as simple as parking the thing I most dread coming home from work. My suggestion is to completely elimate reserved parking, its a hassle. If the resident does more

I applied here after a HORRID experience with the staff at Kempwood Hollow. Brittany in the office is great. I dropped off my application with the money order and got an email about 2 hours later stating my approved status. They do factor how much your utilities (water, gas, trash) will be based on how many people will be residing in your apartment. Even with two of us, rent will still be under more

I have taken the time to read a few of the complaints on this site and I have to agree with the ones who did not give good ratings. I have had a couple of issues arise and nobody seemed to care. Also did not seem to care if they were losing a tenant who paid rent on time EVERY single month while there. It's just mind-blowing to me that a group of people can be so rude while running someone more
