This apartment is in an excellent location and appears to be gorgeous (from the outside).
After moving in, I discovered that my apartment slanted up and down in several areas. Also, the carpet was permanetly soaked with the soap used to shampoo it, which in turn soaked up all dirt and deposited it on anything that touched it--so it was very sticky. I could not touch my own carpet without developing a rash and black feet. There was paint all over the carpet and the appliances. The weatherstripping on the door remained damaged, so the cockroaches in the area were constantly entering. Basically, the maintenence would just appear to do a job, without any attention to how it was done. A blindfolded toddler sould have done a better job with his hands tied behind his back.
The management had a very "take it or leave it" attitude and could care less about its residents once it roped them into a lease.

There are several, loud college kids who live in the complex. My apartment faced the garage. I was constantly awakened by drunkenyelling, car alarms, and monster trucks racing through the garage. (And I am a college kid and a night owl.)
The dumpsters were constantly overflowing. The management´s solution to this was to chastise the residents about depositing trash on the ground by the dumpster when the dumsters were impossibly full.
But, the gym was great and so was the location.
