Resident 2008

8/8/2011

I lived at this community while I completed my internship. It was and is a great community. I had a problem with parking, but I believe that problem was due to the fact all of the apartments where occupied. The community proved to be quite quiet. When I moved from Florida, I was told the Southwest side of Houston was a dangerous place to live. And I did see some apartment communities that put fear in this grown man's heart. But not Brays Oaks Village. I felt safe from the moment I walked into the Management Office (There was Constable seated at the Leasing Professional's desk). A nice and warm young lady showed me a fully furnished model. This place was truly like an oasis in a desert of run down apartment complexes. The Brays Oaks Village Management Staff always seem to enjoy their jobs and care for their residents. I remember after Hurricane Ike, Miss. Sandra and her staff went door to door to check on each and every tenant. Being with out electricity and water for two weeks after the storm, the staff of Brays Oaks Village went out of their way to hand out food and ice to the tenants. They really like to mix with their residents. During a resident function, I remember watching from my balcony the assistant Manager dance with my next door neighors, Leasing professional were painting the children's faces, and the Maintenance Staff were passing out food. Brays Oaks Village will always carry a special place in my heart.
