Compared to many of the overpriced, maintenance-lacking places around here that are newer and thinner-walled, Fox Hall has been a great place to live, especially in the Memorial area. It's not much to look at compared to the newer complexes around here, but Sue Cottle does a decent job of only renting to quiet families- You won't find any drug-dealers out and about or too-noisy kids out all hours. There is crime- someone got robbed the other night, but it only seems to happen once or twice a year, and luckily there doesn't seem to be any violent crime. Maintenance is excellent- these guys work 24/7 and respond quickly. It's an old place, so stuff does break, and the water is rusty (get some filters and it'll be okay), but the place just had an upgrade- new roofing, exteriors refurbished and repainted. Quite a few residents have been here for decades. Only other downside is a lack of washer/dryer connections- there are only a few, and they never seem to be available. Even if they are, they're $100 more a month- not worth the extra cost. But best of all- it's a BILLS PAID complex.
