Mandolin has lost the business / prospective business of many of my friends / colleagues because of their forced cable TV charges. They can do without that and still be the best in the area because the community is awesome.

We understand that The Mandolin is your home and we are so pleased to hear that you are enjoying your time with us. As for the cable, Direct TV updated the system recently and the service is working really well. With the bulk package that we have, they are able to provide our residents with a month to month contract, free installation, and a package that would normally cost between $70 and $80. Also, our rental rates are usually some of the best in the area to help absorb some of the monthly cable fees. It's almost like getting cable at no charge. We would include the cable fee in the rent but in the future we plan to change the cable provider and need the easiest and fastest way to edit resident's leases without having them to resign their entire lease contract.
