Resident 2013 - 2015

This place is awful, and so is the management. They have standing water on the roof, so tons of mosquitoes when you try to sit out on the balcony. It rained through the roof in my first year, and their repairs included guys carrying moldy material through the hallways. They didn't even bag the moldy trash. They also just blew mold into my closets through the air vent, and then acted like that's impossible when I complained. I had to toss half of all of my clothes because of these people. Their garage door never works, so the gated parking is always open. Not exactly what I had in mind when I chose to pay more for a safe place to live. One person had a laptop stolen out of their car, and from what I think to remember, were told by ----- (management) that they were stupid to leave valuables in their vehicle. My car was hit twice parking there and of course I got stuck with the repairs. There are no shops or restaurants to walk to from that place, so be prepared to drive even if you just need some milk or want to have a glass of wine. The neighborhood is not very safe. The light rail empties out a block from there, lot's of homeless people loitering near the property. I never felt safe walking at night. The building is half empty, so they are desperate and will rent to families with kids who also want their parents living with them, so six people cram into a one bedroom apartment, and it is obviously loud that way. I had neighbors that either screamed at their kids or at each other. If you live near the pool, there will be drunk naked people partying. If you live on the other side, you have all of the grill parties and the smoke and food smell in your place. Loud music and people screaming and laughing until the middle of the night. Now that they are building a huge apartment complex just down the street, there is also a lot of early morning construction noise. Most people there have dogs, so there is a lot of dog poop and pee in the elevator, it's really disgusting and not at all what I expected for so much money ($2,700 for a one bedroom). And they will raise the rent on you every year.
