Vizcaya on the NO List
I lived here at Vizcaya for two years and am so happy to have moved out. The area it is in is horrible, therefore car and apartment break-ins occur consistently. My neighbors car got broken into and there was nothing in it to even steal. She had to pay for a new window for nothing. I heard of at least 5 people being robbed at gun point in the parking lot. Management will send out a letter just to tell their residents to be aware of their surroundings. Management is rude and unwilling to go beyond any effort. Maintenance guys are friendly, but to get anything done you have to ask them personally. Parking is really bad. One night I came home late and there was absolutely not one parking spot open in the whole complex. I had to sit in my car and drive around and wait for someone to leave. To get a car port or garage is impossible, even though there are open ones all the time. I had to call consistently to get one and after three or four months of bothering them they finally got me one. The apartments are cheaply built and fall apart, that being said the rent is way to high for what you get. Noise wasn't a problem because I had no neighbors pretty much the whole time I lived there. The front office acts extremely annoyed if you go in and/or call for anything. My moving out experience resulted in them charging me a huge "clean up" fee, even though I cleaned the place. I feel this was their way of getting money out of me. Somewhat like a scam. Did this happen to anyone else? They won't work with you what so ever so I had no choice but to just pay it. We all know apartments can do what they want and get away with it. I know apartment have their problems but Vizcaya has HUGE problems. Try apartments on the south side of I-10, much better areas!!!Share This Review
