The tap water is dirty. A glass of hot water comes out brown. It is disgusting to shower in this place and nauesating to think of drinking or cooking with it. Management is incompetent, possibly engaging in illegal activities. You may get a letter saying something along the lines of "while walking the apartment we noticed you have an list of possible but unspecified problems and if you don't fix this we will charge you some insanely high amount." Well, first, they don't walk the apartment. That is obvious because of the number of lease violations never addressed. Residents commonly dry their laundry on their patios, store junk on their patios, and have illegal amounts of residents. Why they target a specific apartment is unknown. Good luck if there is another fire here. Fire extinguishers not provided. Cars get vandalized. The front gate doesn't always open with the code. Maitenance is very slow because there aren't enough people to deal with problems. I have seen problems with roaches, flies, moth-like bugs, and a number of various species I can't identify. It is more common than not to see trash on the ground such as beer bottles and fast food wrappers. You may pay for high speed internet access and cable but you won't get good performance since the wiring is as old as the apartment complex (20 years).
