For those of you looking to call The Renaissance home don't base ur judgement on these reviews. I read these reviews before touring the community and decided I needed to see how this community was for myself. I was needing a three bedroom home for a quick move in since my house just closed. I had 5 other places to view and a few houses but I really liked what I saw on their site, and too be honest I thought the pool was to good to be true. I called up to the property and the lady who answered was very knowledgable about the community she literally answered every questions I had with confidence. I made an appointment with her I showed up promptly and she was ready to assist me, she had all my information already taken down didn't waste any time in going over the layout with me and took me for a tour. I wanted to see not only the layout but an apartment that someone was fixing to move into (I wanted to see for myself it was as bad as I've read in the rerviews) she took me to a town home who was moving in that afternoon. The apartment was very impressive it had brand new carpet it smelt like fresh lemon and there was even a goody bag sitting on the stove with a letter to the family. I asked if that was something they do for everyone and she said yes that it's there welcome home gift. I asked to drive around the community I wanted to see if there was trash everywhere like I had read and I didn't see any I saw a few trash cans sitting out but no trash. She toured me the clubhouse and lastly the pool I was flabbergasted when I saw that pool to those who complain about the pool that was by far the most gorgeous pool I have seen they freaken have cabanas and a pit station!!!!! Once done looking at the pool she began telling me that they only had one for immediate move in. I started asking about the water bills since that's another complaint I read on she went and got me and actual water bill and showed me what it ran this past month for an apartment the size i wanted and with the same amount of people as mine it was only $86 and that was with the trash, I was expecting a $250 water bill from what I read. Once i finished the application the manager came out and she thanked me for choosing them as my new home and gave me her personal email address incase I ever needed anything. As I walked outside I saw a few people by the mail boxes and decided to ask them their opinion on the management, I had one lady tell me how she had broken her foot a few months ago and couldn't manage to go up and down the stairs in her apartment so the assistant went to her apartment to get the rent from her so it wouldn't be late. The gentlemen who was there couldn't say enough nice things about the staff apparently he had been looking for a VCR for his kids to watch some old VHS tapes and the leasing girl helped him find one. The leasing girl did make it clear to me rent is due on the first which was odd to me but it's fair I mean I am getting a great deal on my rent, speaking as a business owner go see it for yourself don't let these upset people turn you away.
