The Woods of Elm Creek have some of the most beautiful grounds I have seen. The apartments and closets are spacious. Everything is well=kept. The maintenance staff are extremely nice, helpful, and fix things very promptly. The grounds are kept clean. I've never heard my neighbors. The office staff, while I didn't always agree with policy, always treated me with respect. I have since moved to Austin in an apt $300 more for a one bedroom than the 2-bedroom apt I had a Elm Creek and it should be in reverse because everything at Elm Creek is high quality, bigger, better kept. I did have a problem with roaches which if you live down here you're going to have. To address that, the Woods had pest control come to my apartment every other week and then I never had another problem. I haven't compared it to other apartments in San Antonio, but I really couldn't have asked for more. The one thing to pay attention to is the move-out notice you need to give versus the end of your lease as you could pay your lease in full to the end, but if you give less than a certain amount of time notice, you will be charged at a month-to-month rate (a lot higher than your rent) for the different in your move-out time and the amount of notice than you gave. Other than that, enjoy.
