Resident 2014 - 2015

Roaches: If you love Roaches, please feel free to move in. The roaches are tiny but intense. they are in every room, in every wall crack and mostly behind the dishwasher. They will literally fight you for your food and crawl around both day and night. I know people always assume that if you keep your apartment clean, there'll be no roaches, but why are there roaches in the bathroom? are they trying to take a shower? If you bother the management too much, they'll send the fumigator lady with her water spray bottle, and the roaches will think it's a party. Maintenance: They have only one good maintenance guy that makes sense. He's hard working and tries his best, based on parts and equipment that management is willing to provide. the only problem is that he does not speak English. If he comes over to the apartment, he will continue to try and communicate with his Translation Google app, but I think his dialect is different from mainstream. So, if you don't speak Spanish, good luck with maintenance. Management: The only way I can describe them, is that they are a collection of semi--------. The manager, Erica, you would assume should be the problem-fixer, is the problem creator. She is rude, both in person and on the phone. whenever they get around to answering the phone, she'll yell at you for having a maintenance issue, even though they are fully aware aware that they practice "Band-aid over bullet hole" type of maintenance. Then, subsequently, the rest of the pack picks up on her energy and acts accordingly. If you want anything done, stand-by and interject in the middle of them talking to a potential client. Because they want to create that facade of attentiveness, they will get on it quick. Positives: So, its not all bad, the good points are; The apartments are huge. If you love space, you got it. They do make an effort to accept packages for you when you're not there. They won't inform you though, you have to go to the office to ask, then they'll check. But it still beats hunting down the mail guy during your work hours. The price WAS reasonable, but with the recent rent hike, I think they just lost that point. You might not always get parking in front of your apartment, but, you will get parking. some complexes do not have enough for their tenants, so that's a plus. And you don't have to worry about getting towed. There's my 2 cents, it's up to you to decide what you're willing to deal with.
