Glenwood is awful. Here's a few reasons why:
The Internet is terrible- it's almost impossible to do anything online because it is so slow
The apartments smell horribly- almost like something died in an air vent and has been decaying all year
The walls and windows are paper-thin and don't keep heat in during the winter
Glenwood gives out too many parking passes, so although you pay for a spot, there aren't enough
Maintenance doesn't fix anything that will cost more than a few dollars, so sinks, toilets, showers, dishwashers etc. are basically always broken
Ridiculously expensive for the quality offered- state penitentiaries are kept to a higher standard
Management never takes responsibility for anything that goes wrong
The premises aren't safe at all- residents' cars and bikes are vandalized on a weekly basis
The pool and hot tub are disgusting and contain at least 28 different infectious diseases- our roommate got Shingles from swimming
The oven & microwave are barely better than those battery-operated kid-playhouse replicas that just turn on a light for 15 seconds until Barbie's voice tells you "all done!"
There are no lights in the closets, and the windows allow in less light than those in a prison, so it's nearly impossible to judge what color shirt you are selecting each morning
Some idiot who doesn't know how to start a motorcycle redlines his Harley in the parking lot each morning at 6am, waking up everyone from here to the Wilk
ANTS!!! OMFG!!!! It's like that scene from the fourth Indiana Jones movie where the Russian guy gets taken down into an anthill, only worse...
The mold- it's EVERYWHERE- from the windooooooow, to the waaaaaaall....
The toilets are the things that suck the least here- literally, they can't handle any crap at all
The parking lots are never iced in winter- the students trying to walk to school in the morning slip and fall with more flailing limbs than dancers in a Russian ballet
All in all, when it comes to college housing, Glenwood comes in dead last, just barely beating out the cardboard boxes on Center Street for last place
