Leasor Beware
This place is cheap and furnished, but In my brief stay in spring/summer of 2014, I encountered a huge number of issues there isn't the space to write about here.
Property condition/amenities: No central A/C. Overall poor condition.
Internet: slow during the day, crashed near-daily, and consistently ground to total unusablity night after night. The final week and a half of living here, the internet went completely down and never came back up.
Safety: one of my roommates was a former code inspector; these units are not up to code in a variety of ways.
Maintenance crew: Slow, difficult to work with; barely speaks English.
Property management: On three separate occasions, I was overbilled and it took extended time to resolve. Property management is only in the office ten hours a week and frequently gone even then. Very slow in getting back with you when they do at all.
Deposit: It took a full two and a half months after I moved out and seventeen separate contact attempts just to get 40% of my original deposit back. I was billed for a cleaning check despite leaving the unit significantly cleaner than when I first moved in.
I'm drastically limited on space in this review; suffice it say, this was a very poor experience. Google search "LeGrande Apartments," "Miller Apartments," and the property management group that manages these and a total of 17 area properties, "Continental Properties" for reviews, and you're going to see a ton of similar experiences.
