Well first the women at the rental office are very pleasant and nice. They are very helpful when you have an issue that needs to be addressed. Ok now we address all of the negatives which unfortunately are many.
First, the entrance to the complex is kept clean, but not much can be done for the back of the complex. There is always mattresses outside of the dumpsters and furniture, and it is everyday, all the time. That is only if you can make it to the back of the complex without running over children playing in the street. Second, they are trying to do many renovations, maybe more than they can handle. There is too much going on at the same time. They have been painting for 2 months, painted the front door last month, and I still do not have numbers on my front door, so the deliveries get lost or delivered to the leasing office. Then they come into your apartment at any time they want, do not announce themselves and leave a huge mess. They got paint all over the place, moved anything that was in the way to make way, so last week they primed and sanded, and this week they are still painting sparatically. They do not finish one job and start the other.
So they retiled the laundry room and placed the broken machines back in the room. They are also replacing the entrance door so residents have to buzz visitors in, but there are still no numbers on the front of our doors so you will still have to yell at them from the stairs, that is if it ever gets finished.
Make sure that when you move in you need to make sure you look very carefully at the job that was done to make the apartment liveable. Third, there is a ROACH problem that comes from quick renovations, such as placing new baseboards on top of old ones. Telephone boxes, may you have a strong stomach if you open it because it is FILLED with dead roaches, but they did do a nice job of painting over top of the telephone outlet. If I could go back, I would not rent this apartment.
