Resident ā€¢ 2001

4/28/2003

The apartments themselves are really not bad, although old. I lived there only a few months because of the management company. I moved in from outside the area, and the person who showed me around did not say ONE WORD about the Wilson Bridge project (this was before construction was so obvious). Then, 2 months in, I order a fairly expenisive rug that needs to be delivered. The management office signed for it, then "lost" it somehow. A 6 foot tall rolled area rug. Yes, I can see how that would be easy to lose. Then, over the course of 2 weeks, management office representatives proceeded to lie to me about their efforts to recover it, which I only discovered when I happened to run into the local mailman and asked him about the situation. Ultimately, I was so disgusted with their behavior I wrote a nastygram to the head office in Maryland and forced them to break my lease. I have been living in a nearby non-Key Management property for the past 3 years.

If you are even considering moving here, be warned - there are no thermostats in the apartments. You will have only as much heat as they want you to have, when they want you to have it.

Add that to the parking problems and the fact that half the laundry room stops working on random occasions, and I cant imagine why anyone lives there.
