Resident 2003 - 2004

1/7/2004

I have lived at the Reserve for six months and can´t wait to move out in six more. 1. The management is great till you sign the lease then it´s like pulling teeth to get anyone to help you. 2.We asked before we moved in about the smell from the sewage plant and were told you can´t smell it.(A LIE) 3.We can hear our neighbor´s TV at all hours. 4.We were given a parking spot(which we pay for) on the opposite side of the garage and entire building from our apartment. 5.Then when we asked about a better space and were told to ask at the begining of the month due to move-outs, then put off any time we ask about a new space. 6.When we need service done in our apartment it takes three to four calls to get it done. 7.The employees that work here don´t know their a$$ from a hole in the ground, let alone notify you if you have a package. 8.There is alot of unpicked up dog mess, which wouldn´t happen if the staff refilled the dog-doo bag dispensers. 9.It´s advertised on the website (lincolnapts.com) to be a gated community, which is false because the gates are never closed. (allowing residents of the ------ to roam freely in and out of the complex) 9.The neighaborhood next to the reserve is ------ in all aspects, which also deals with the gates never working. 10.The mailman is a poster-child for psychotic workplace shooting suspect of the year. 11.I have seen mice running around the grounds. 12.The West Nile Virus breeding ground of a pond reguarly has cats, opossums, and rats in it when the water level gets low. 13.The fence along the ------ neighaborhood is completely see-through, while the fence on the side with the car dealership is a solid wooden one. 14.There is like $500 worth of deposits to have a dog, plus pet rent. 15.They recently installed "security" cameras, which, after pressing the staff for an explaination, are designed to catch the people who hit the gates with their cars, not for security at all.

On the bright side... most of the residents are fairly nice, the grounds are usually in good condition, almost all the dog owners know eachother and often socialize while letting the puppies play, and it is extremly close to the District and Reagan National.
