The apartments are nice at Lincoln and there are a lot of good stores around. Any problems that we reported were addressed promptly. Visitor parking is extremely limited. If your guests are not lucky enough to get one of the visitor spots, the leasing office can only give you one visitor's parking pass and even that you'll have to get in advance. The gates do not work half of the time so are a bit pointless. The biggest problem we had that overshadowed everything else was the NOISE. Not only did the person upstairs have heavy footsteps AND stayed up all night with guests, but our unit was literally next to route 66. We specifically asked the leasing person about noise pollution from 66, and she assured us that the noise would not be a factor because of the noise barrier. Big [EPIC FAIL] mistake. The noise barrier doesn't help when you're on the 3rd floor. When we asked to see the unit we were getting, the leasing person told us that we couldn't since it was still being occupied. We should've insisted on at least standing in front of the building, but she kept insisting that the noise would not be a problem. If we had done that, we could've avoided this place. True, it might have been foolish to take her word, but she repeatedly said the noise wouldn't be so bad (even when we complained AFTER moving in; she then suggested the noise would go away after we moved in a bunch of furniture).
