Resident 2005 - 2006

6/4/2006

I made the mistake of deciding to live here for a year. Not only could I hear everything that went on in the apartment above me, but I could hear everything that went on in my roommate's room even when both our doors were shut. My room was the closest to the stairs and I could hear whenever anyone went up or down (particularly bad if they didn't move quietly).

As if that weren't bad enough...my roommate and I were constantly forced to contact the maitenance office for our appliances not working. Since we moved in we've had to have our ice maker replaced twice, our dryer replaced, our water heater serviced twice, and our air conditioning had to be fixed twice in the span of a month (even though we were told there was nothing wrong with it).

This place wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so cheaply made. All I can say is...if you've decided you can't do better...at least live on the top floor! Also, some of the other residents are questionable and I didn't feel very safe at night especially since the cops came to the complex on a fairly regular basis (though I don't know why). Overall, it's definitely not worth the money they charge to live there.
