I lived at Dulles Greene for one year. I would live here again AS LONG as I could rent an apartment on the San Moritz side as that is the newer area versus the Astoria side. I had a friend who lived on the Astoria side and she had all sorts of problems in her unit. See below some pros and cons I found:
Pros:
-Floor plans are great for the price, alot of space for that area
-Very convenient to Harris Teeter, Safeway, Giant, Bloom, Target, and Reston Town Center
-Did not have a problem with noise levels except for the woman above me that was running a daycare during the day but by 5pm it was quiet all around.
-Maintenance was ALWAYS at my apartment within 20 minutes of me entering in my request online. Requested maintenance maybe 3 times total.
Cons:
-Visitor pass so hard to obtain. Why should I have to take time off from my job to stand outside the leasing office door for them to give me a parking pass. Rules are terrible. Should be more relaxed on rules people do work during the day
-Staff has a lot of "airheady" employees, not helpful at all. Reluctantly I only had to talk to them maybe 3 times the entire year I lived there.
