I completely agree with the previous posting about the new management. They are completely unprofessional and some in the office are way too young and/or unprofessional to be managing anything. One girl in the office was on her cellphone (more than once) taking personal calls while I was there trying to get help on a maintenance issue. And getting a returned phone call from someone there, or getting them to pick up? Forget about it.
(And) make sure you look at your actual apartment first before paying for an application fee or giving them a deposit or signing a lease. I had someone in the office sell me on the place by telling me that all apartments look like the model. This person told me I could not look at my actual apartment, but assured me it looked like the model. Trust me, it looks nothing like the model, and I was not allowed to look at it until the day I moved in. By then, I had all of my boxes and the movers there, and so it was too late to change. Some of the apartments (mine included) have 30 year-old cabinets, sinks, flooring and appliances. The cabinets are sticky, smelly and grimy. I found toys, pencils and other various life forms in the kitchen behind the refrigerator. I was in someone else's apartment who has a washer/dryer, and you have to hook it up to the sink in order for it to work. I was shocked and never would have moved in had I been told the truth my management. Again, the office staff has been incredibly unprofessional and a complete and utter nightmare to deal with, if they deal with you at all (they do not return phone calls, even in emergencies). They also don't tell you the truth. It used to be nice, but the resident quality has definitely changed. There are six people living in the place next to me!! I think four is suppossed to be the max.
