My husband and I completely regret ever moving here. I can't think of 1 positive thing to say about this complex. This place was built with the cheapest material ever, we can literally hear conversations of our neighbors. It's really uncomfortable. If we're in the bathroom, we can hear our upstairs neighbors LIFT THEIR TOILET LID AND USE THE BATHROOM. It's disgusting, I have to like run out of the bathroom so I don't have to hear them using the bathroom. The insulation around the doors and windows is nonexistent. It is freezing cold in our house during the winter, and no one on the maintenance staff can figure out how to fix it. Our back patio would be really nice to use, there's lawn and trees that I would love to have my toddler run and play on, but there's so much dog poop and cigarette butts that I can't.
The female main manager lives in a house right by our apartment. Her walk to work would literally be 5 minutes or less, and instead and doing that, she drives. Okay, whatever she's too lazy to walk to work. The annoying thing is, she parks in the roundabout in front of the main office, which happens to be the entry way to the complex. Her freaking car is constantly blocking people from coming and going. I wonder if she realizes there are parking spots 10 feet from where she's parked, judging by how rude she's been when we're in the office paying rent, or picking up a package, she just doesn't care. These people obviously do not have any standard when hiring people to be on their staff. With the exception of 1 couple, every other person who has worked here since we've lived here, has been fired because of office drama and drug abuse. Doesn't that just give you warm fuzzies about the maintenance guys who come into your home?? Speaking of those guys, we've now lived here for 8-9 months, in that time, we've called about 2 things that have needed fixed. Our dishwasher and the insulation, not 1 thing has been fixed, no one has even shown up.
Apparently this is a 'non-smoking' complex, but the management doesn't enforce the rule, probably because they are too lazy to do anything. Our kitchen ceiling flooded because of our upstairs neighbors toilet, disgusting right?? He had called the office because his toilet kept running and 3 months later, our kitchen is flooding through the lights on the ceiling.
This place is defintely not worth what you pay for. And I'm pretty sure rent has gone up $50 in the 8 months that we've lived here. If you care about your house's cleanliness, and sanity, do not move here. You will regret it.
