Although I gave the complex a pretty good review about 2 years ago when I was in a studio her; I am having to change my opinion now. We have moved to a very large apartment on the 3rd floor. When I moved out of my studio, I had some carpet wear and tear (it was pretty bad spot 2´x2´) and they went ahead and tried to charge me $1600 for it. They said it was "custom made carpet". After threatening not to pay and to go to court over it, they brought the 700% price increase down to $600. I paid it, but vowed that at the end of my nearing lease, I would never do business here again.

They changed water and sewer management companies last summer, and our first bill for a studio was about $300, a slight increase, i´d say, over my normal $8.50 a month. They say it was for faulty reading, and everyone in the complex was getting bills for that amount for 4 months (well, $8.50x4 months does not equal $300). Once again we paid it.

Mowing occurs at 6am on Saturdays, the street cleaner comes by at 1am, and practice fire alarms occur at 9am on weekends.

The convienences of this place are great, but the service is far from "luxury" as they call it.

Still don´t see many neighbors, but we sure do hear them, beating drums and listening to rock music at 3am. Doesn´t anyone work anymore?

Oh yes, AND if you are caught parking in the above parking lot, they fine you $100, even if you are visiting one of the shops up there.

UPS no longer leaves slips on the door, nor do they call to your apartment if you are in the building opposite the lease office. So it could be days/weeks before you realise a package is waiting for you in the managers office.
