Gets the job done
I'm a student at Seattle University and have lived here for approximately 2 years. The location and price are the main reasons I chose Paul Revere, and it certainly delivers on those counts. - It's a 15 minute walk from school as well as the center of downtown, waterfront, and Pioneer Square and perfect for a college kid on a budget. - The building itself isn't stunning or particularly modern, but perfectly functional. Appliances are older, but work just fine. Washers and dryers are coin operated and located in the basement, but there are only 3 of each so sometimes it gets backed up on the weekends. - Some noise from the street outside, to be expected as I'm located right across from the hospital, but it's only really bothersome in the early morning (around 4 AM) and late night. Not a peep from surrounding units. - In terms of safety, the hospitals in the area sometimes attract transients, but I haven't been hassled or felt in danger. - Staff is very friendly and quick to respond to resident concerns about maintenance or other issues. Carey, the manager, has been extremely helpful throughout my time here; she got me the unit within a weeks notice, at my price point, and got me through the hurdles of being a first time solo renter without a credit score. I'll be moving out in December after I graduate, and I have to say I'll miss the place. While not glamorous, it gets the job done admirably.Share This Review
