Resident 2009 - 2011

5/26/2014

When I had moved in to Inlet View in March 2009, it was a nice little area compared to where I was living before. Having no vehicle of my own, it was one of the most logical places for me to live because everything was within walking distance. However, with the economy turning the way it is, living there was not doing me any favors. One of the advantages I thought I had when moving there was that I would have free cable television. Before I moved in, this guideline was changed and that meant more money out of everybody's pockets (not just mine). Then, later ... there was a rent increase because nothing was cheap anymore (another problem). And, finally ... all windows in the apartments are poorly sealed and letting in lots of cold air, especially in the winter time. Or, gas/charcoal fumes, depending on the type of grill used for food in the summer. The winter of 2010 was too much for me because I couldn't afford to keep my home heated and my toes would go numb so fast. It was an unhealthy place for that reason, and management there didn't seem to care, either.
