Resident 2000 - 2001

8/9/2001

Nice neighborhood. I´ve lived in two different units. All apartments have only 2 phone jacks. Kitchen and Master Bedroom. This makes it hard to get phone service to a computer it another room, or a guest bedroom. One unit has older plasterboard walls that would not support anything but the lightest picture. Anything else would fall out. The second unit has been much better. There are plenty of electrical outlets in each room, with the exception of the GFI outlets. In the kitchen, they are placed farthest away from the sink, when they should be the closest.
The office staff needs a lot of improvement. None of them seem to what is going on, and there is a serous lack of communication between the different shifts. Work orders take far too long. Rent checks take far too long to be deposited at the bank. It took over a month to get a kitchen drawer replaced. Three weeks to have my oven looked at, and another two weeks to have it replaced. Luckily it was only the broiler that had gone bad.
The comples is in a nice neighboorhood, but the staff and management company really need some improvement. Recently "bi annual inspections" were started, yet there is no mention of this in the lease. Trust Management needs to get on the ball and run the Outlook like a business, not a hotel.
