We have lived in two Weidner properties, and Admirals Cove was a NIGHTMARE. We moved to Alaska with a small child and had no idea how unsafe and loud the neighborhood was. The management was extremely rude, poorly informed and frequently ignored phone calls. Management at Weidner properties changes frequently, and very few of the people are good. Eighteen months after leaving Admirals Cove, we received a rude letter stating we owed money and were being turned over to collections. Fascinating. We had lived in another Weidner property for a year, and no one thought we owed money then. When I tried to address this with the new (rude, poorly trained, as usual) manager, she informed me I "should have been turned over to collections a long time ago, but I'm the one who has the guts to do it". Well, after contacting corporate, WE were actually reimbursed for money owed to us! Corporate apologized profusely, but the rudeness of the people residents actually have to deal with is simply not worth any granite countertop. Save your money and your sanity.
