upon renting this townhome from the manager, my wife was told by the property manager, that problems within the home would be repaired before the move in date. i was on the slope, when the transaction took place. she signed the agreement to have repairs done and paid the deposit. they had three weeks to complete. none were done. there was numerous problems with the home over the course of time we resided there. toilets crumbling, pipes breaking. gas leak in the kitchen. sewer lines clogged outside the building. at five months pregnant, my wife fell down the stairs, because the rotten carpet came off. the repair was staples that stuck out. a cabinet in the kitchen had a door fall off, because the manager wouldn't replace a hinge. the manager's name was Lee Pekrul. the owners name was Larry Koch. when we finally got a lawyer involved, we found out the complex was not insured, and the owner and manager were not liscensed to be complex renters. upon them finding out of the investigation, they changed the locks on our unit, while i was onthe slope, and my wife was alone. they then let her in. at 8 in the evening, they entered my home, without knocking, or letting my wife know they were there. she walked out of the shower with them in our home! police were called at that point.
