Resident 2012 - 2013

7/11/2013

I'd rather live in a dump than this hell hole. Okay that's exaggerating , but this place is a 0/0 in my book. -Mold grows EVERYWHERE within a couple of days. You have to continue to use bleach on all bathroom appliances all the time. There's also mold growing around the window, so that's gross. -The managers and staff are absolutely terrible. They only are in it for the free rent. The on-call people are rarely ever actually on the property so it can take up to 45 minutes for them to get to you. -Our walls are like paper, if you lean up against it, you may make it crack. -You can hear the people above you walking, even if they're tip-toeing. -For a 3bed/3 bath the space is entirely too small. -Don't even think about having a lot of furniture in your room, these rooms will hold a full-size bed, small dresser and a night stand...and even then forget having room to walk. -This complex is extremely old, and it shows. They redid the outside of the apartments, but the inside is what truly matters. --The model room will make you think these apartments are nice, WRONG. Go visit someone who actually lives here. You'll think differently. -There is dog poop everywhere, and the Reserve management rarely enforces fining. -The security lights outside of each apartment are almost always not working, so expect to feel unsafe at night. -There's a hole in the fence for the neighboring apartment, allowing randos to walk around who always look suspicious. -The pool does not implement their (residents and their guests only)rule , majority of time time maybe 5% of the people actually live there. I've been a few times to the pool and families would come swim here...I repeat THERE WERE CHILDREN AT THIS POOL. That is not okay. -The wifi sucks, it'll take them WEEKS to fix it...and even then, its super slow. AU Wifi works better, and that's saying something. -I really have nothing positive to say about this place, honestly. I had a great experience with my roommates, but this place isn't worth the money. Oh and if you wanna feel even better about how much this place is ripping you off, the key cards you use cost around 40cents to make and they charge you $25 if you misplace it. -Go live at The Exchange (or whatever it's called now) if you want an apartment in this price range, WAY BETTER. I made a mistake of signing a lease here. After one year, I'm so glad to be leaving this place.
