At first my stay at the Retreat at Rocky Ridge was wonderful. Ashley Shivers,was the one who help me get my apartment. She went over everything in detail and she made me feel welcome. Also, very professional & even after I moved in she continued to make sure I was satisfied. Now, after Ashley left it seems like management began to lack. Deitra Underwood who is the property manager seems to never know anything about her property. I call in & she would provide incorrect information & say she would have to have her other staff contact me, because she doesn't know. Then no one would ever call & went I would go in no one had a clue what I was talking about. I would call down to the leasing office and ask questions or asking to speak to a certain individual & was told my messages would get relaid & they did not. I would also call down to the leasing office and get no answer but I would drive down there or take my trash they would are sitting in the office either eating or on the cell phone and have no potential residents. I even referred my friend thinking I'm helping her out & also bringing the company clientele. I had to continuously ask about my referral money. I feel like they should value my business & also value the fact I am referring & giving you all recommendations. Deitra speaks about integrity. Yes, U.S residential may have integrity as a company, but humans are not perfect & not every human has or shows integrity. This is the first company I have run across that let there employees(leasing office ) take 3-5 hour lunches & handle personal affairs during that time.. they only have two staff & I know for a fact both employees should not be gone for the same allotted time. I feel like they have a lot of shady business going on within the office. They want to reinforce the policy & procedure with residents, but they can do whatever they please & that's is unfair. I know of at least 5 other residents who live there who have some of the same complaints & also other clients who considered living there also complained about Detria attitude, demeanor & professionalism. What really put the icing on the cake is when I moved out & they want to say I owe $935.. FOR?? $400 for replacement of the carpet, which they are going to do anyway, especially since I have been staying there for 2 years & $200 for the removal of mattresses, that were not there before I left. I am still awaiting proof of this . With all of this frustration & discontentment nothing is still being done by Deitra so I had to just go ahead & escalate my issue to corporate .
